I have been amazed and delighted by the care, support and respect I have been shown in Richmond House. You hear so many negative reports about care homes but my experience has been 100% positive. The assistant manager is fantastic and always goes the extra mile to ensure your comfort and care.

The physio and all the staff work tirelessly. I give Richmond House five stars.

Very pleased with overall care. Staff go the extra mile. One member of staff kindly accompanied me to hospital providing support when I needed it. Can't do enough for me, always cheerful and helpful. Only criticism of this person is her singing is awful!

I cannot praise the staff and management of Richmond House too highly. The infirmary failed my mum. She was sent to Richmond House from the infirmary very poorly. It was Richmond House's own blood tests that identified mum's hypomagnesium. Now she has recovered and with the rehabilitation physio, she is back to her old self. Richmond House has given us our mum back. For that we are truly grateful and we always will be. This is what care looks like.

An elderly neighbour has been transferred to Richmond House following a back and two hip operations. Unfortunately, her one relative is aged and caring for his bed ridden wife.
I have visited where possible every couple of days and spoken with your team for regular updates on her progress.

The care team have an extremely demanding job but have always found time to update me. Their care and dedication to my neighbour has been to an extremely high standard, nothing has been too much trouble. She returns home tomorrow to continue her recovery. It's a big thank you to all the staff at Richmond House.

My mum has visited twice in the last six months and on both occasions the care she received was excellent. On the second visit, she was not as strong and she did struggle with walking and eating. The very experienced staff helped my mum to reach her full potential by offering her support with kind words and encouraging her to eat in the dining room surrounded by others. The staff were all very cheerful and professional in their approach and I was delighted mum went there the second time she needed rehabilitation as I felt confident it would help her towards recovery. The meals whilst might not be to everyone’s taste, were varied and nutritious and well balanced. The rooms are welcoming and very homely which was what my mum needed.

I arrived here from the hospital about a week after breaking my left fumer. My recovery was uneventful and I was lucky enough to be given a room at Richmond House Care Home to recuperate after my operation. Since being here I have been treated with respect and dignity and total professionalism by all members of staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care centre to any of my friends should they require care of the highest order.

A very good experience. The care and attention are excellent. The staff are very caring and always give that little bit extra to make life easier. An example of their extra care was when I first arrived, there was no TV in my room but one of the staff brought one from their own home and this has made a great difference to my stay.

My mum stayed here for 3 weeks after being in the hospital. From arriving to departing she really progressed from not being able to stand up unaided, to walking the length of the corridors today rooms etc. The care she had was excellent, with all staff so helpful. The gentleman manager at the moment is brilliant and so kind. Nothing too much trouble. Definitely, recommend this care home for a short stay or permanent residency. Menus always on display for residents and family to see. Lovely!
