An hospitable, caring and concerned environment. Nothing is too much for any member of staff from nursing staff and admissions to the cleaners. The building is obviously cared for and refurbishment of rooms, upgrading, was taking place during my wife's stay.
Mother aged 95 was recently transferred from hospital to Richmond House for intermediate care. On arrival, she could barely stand and could only walk a few steps with the aid of a Zimmer ( prior to illness was sequence dancing twice a week ). Within 2 weeks the staff had her back on her feet and preparing for independent living back home. Mother and her family have nothing but praise for the sterling work the staff do - in fact, mother says going into Richmond House was the best thing that could have happened. Mother's stay was 1 day short of 2 weeks and she is now back home living on her own and doing extremely well. Once again we would like to thank all the staff for the excellent work they do.
Lovely to come into a bright, friendly environment when visiting Mum. Good how rooms are continuously being modernised and updated especially like new windows.
I receive excellent care. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I feel safe and secure knowing my personal care and medical needs are taken care of.
It was very good. I enjoyed my stay.
Everything was fine. Staff were excellent with my mother.
Pretty efficient and the staff were all ok. Nothing to complain about.
My stay here has been unfortunate because of the bug and we have had to stay in our rooms all the time. Staff very helpful and kind.
I have really enjoyed my stay here at Richmond House. All the staff are caring and kind. Nothing is too much trouble and we are treated with dignity and it means so much when you are feeling unwell. The food is good and served with a smile and kind words. I would recommend this home to friends and family.
Could not have asked for better. Richmond House will remain a very special place to me and my family.
The food is varied and enjoyable and the dining room is very attractive. Tables are beautifully set with proper white tablecloths.
The staff are all delightful and go the extra mile to make you comfortable. It is excellent to have Wi-Fi and charging point for Ipads and mobile phones.
During the period that my late mother was a resident. I found the staff carers and admin alike to be kind, patient and helpful. My mother's needs seemed to be met as far as was humanly possible. Her room was clean and the food good.
Good stay excellent staff and good facilities.
Very satisfactory all the staff are helpful and friendly.
It is the best home I've ever stayed in, the staff are so professional, kind and funny.
Everything is very good.
This care home is to be congratulated and I would certainly recommend this care home to anyone.
Treated my mum with care and respect when she came in for rehabilitation. Her stay was very pleasant. The carers, nurses and physio all made her feel very welcome and was very caring. Staff also made mums visitors welcome.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the service provided here.
The food was variable from poor to reasonable. Soup and a single sandwich is the mainstay of lunchtimes and is insufficient. The staff are friendly and courteous.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We really value the feedback provided by those who use our services.
