I have been very impressed with the quality of care both for medical needs as well as social needs. A lovely atmosphere between carers and residents are encouraged to talk and to do things which stimulates the mind, is often fun orientated and gives a sense of importance and purpose to their lives.
Thank you for your kind remarks. There is certainly lots of activity and fun in Kingswood Manor! Kind Regards.
I am happy with the care she received and also the staff are amazing, lovely and clean and have lovely gardens.
Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated. Kind regards.
On the whole, the carers are very good - excellent activities and entertainment. Mum's room is always clean and tidy with clean bedding etc. Food is very good with choices. Admin staff are always helpful and pleasant. Excellent.
Thank you for your kind comments. Everyone works so hard to ensure that residents and families are happy with all services. Kind regards.
I found the care at the home good. Many of the carers were aware of my friend's condition. Unrequested, a carer would comment 'oh, your friend is in good form today' or 'your friend is in bed today'. So although they may not have been the main carers they showed concern and interest in my friend. I observed that they treated her with respect. Sometimes I would take her out in a wheelchair for a short walk - the staff were always happy to help her into the wheelchair even when, latterly, it entailed using a hoist. The activities coordinator was excellent always arranging a varied programme both inside and beyond the home and drawing a local school into a weekly activity. resident benefitted greatly.
Thank you very much for your review. I am sure that all of the team will be pleased to know that you felt that your friend was well cared for and all carers show concern for all residents. Kind regards.
The atmosphere is great, staff although very busy always make time to explain and are so helpful. No special time to visit which speaks volumes.
Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to review Kingswood Manor. Your kind comments are much appreciated. Kind regards.
The care, attention and professionalism have been beyond any expectations. The nurses and staff devote themselves to every resident’s particular needs. The family atmosphere radiates throughout and my father was extremely happy in his beautiful surroundings.
There are a constant variety of activities and events, many involving family members, which promotes the residents' well being and quality of life. Family members can join the closed group on Facebook and get constant updates, photographs and news of upcoming events.
The door is always open to visitors and everyone is so warm and friendly, I couldn’t have envisaged finding a care home with such compassionate staff.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this care home, I have nothing but admiration for all who work there.
Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to review Kingswood Manor Care Home. Your comments are appreciated and all of the team at the home very much thank you for your kind remarks. Your father will be much missed by all, he was loved and respected. Our condolences and kind regards at this time to you and your family.
Very pleased my mother was able to stay at this home she seems very settled. This is a home from home. Full marks to the staff. Thank you.
Thanks for your review and comments. Everyone in Kingswood Manor works so hard to ensure that the residents are well cared for and it gives them a real 'boost' to know that it is recognised. Your comments will be shared with the team. Kind regards
The care at Kingswood Manor is excellent. The kindness, warmth, and professionalism of all the staff from the home manager to the support staff is wonderful. The whole atmosphere of the home is one of positivity and 'can do' attitude. The friendly staff can't do enough to help. Very clean and tidy, food is excellent and there is a daily list of activities for everyone.
What a wonderful review! I am so pleased that you are able to give such fantastic feedback about the home and the staff team. Thank you. Kind Regards
The care she received was excellent in every respect, daytime and through the night.
As a family, we were with mum during the last days of her life and the care and compassion we received were amazing at such a hard time, the staff at Kingswood Manor are so caring and genuine.
I only wish it had been our first choice.
Thank you for taking the trouble to send a review of Kingswood Manor. I am certain that the feedback you have given will give another family a feel for the excellent care delivered at the home. Kind Regards.
Mum spent her last few months in this home. The care was excellent and the home is in a beautiful building. There is an extensive range of activities ranging from visits to local parks, different entertainers, crafts, events around days such as the Grand National, Strictly come Dancing and Remembrance Day. There is often singing, sometimes spontaneous and Mum enjoyed her time here very much.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review. I am sure that your comments will be very reassuring to those searching for a care home. I will be sure to let the team have your comments. Kind Regards
Kingswood Manor is a bright and friendly care home with lots of activity for residents. Myself and my young children visit daily and are very happy with the care they provide to my dad and other residents.
My mother has been in Kingswood Manor Nursing Home for the last five weeks and during that time we have seen a remarkable improvement in her health. This, I am sure is due to the very good care and attention that has been given. We find the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Any concerns we have are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
I personally couldn't wish for Mum to be placed in a better home.
We are welcomed when we visit and if there are any problems or concerns regarding Mum they will let us know.
It is a home, not an institution. The staff go to great lengths to entertain the residents and make their stay as pleasurable as they can, often involving relatives to attend. We never feel excluded and like to help when we can.
At the end of the day, we as relatives, want our Mum to have the best care she could have. If she is happy we have peace of mind.
I couldn't fault Kingswood Manor. 'A' stars all round.
The most outstanding thing about the home was the level of professional care, nursing care and general friendliness of the staff. I am very grateful for the care taken with my father.
Thank you very much for sending such a positive review of the home. Your comments will do much to encourage others to consider this home for their loved one. Kind Regards
Kingswood Manor Nursing Home is an excellent home and we have no hesitation in recommending it. We moved our friends from a substandard home to Kingswood Manor and immediately his and our stress and anxiety lifted. He needed palliative care and on every level, the staff are professional caring and compassionate. Their warmth and understanding were uplifting. In his final days, we cannot thank enough both day and night staff for the care and support given to him and his son.
What a wonderful review of our home and care team. Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to give such positive feedback, I am sure that it will give others confidence to consider Kingswood Manor when searching for nursing care. Kind Regards
I have seen both sides of Kingswood Manor. My father in law was a palliative resident in 2016. Their care was above reproach. In the end, they took care of my family as much as they did him. They took care of us mentally and physically so we could focus our attention on being there for him. The staff, home and care were second to none.
I am now looking after a friend in Kingswood and see an entirely different aspect to them. He is a resident who moved in with his zest for life gone. I have watched them bring him back to life and put a smile on his face. They take him on outings and bring him to meet me and my daughter for lunch. He has gained weight under they care and he now has things to look forward to. There is always an activity in the lounge and entertainment to partake in. He has never been so happy.
Having experienced both aspects of this home, I highly recommend it for any needs you may have. They are truly a caring and loving environment for your family or friend.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I am so pleased that you are able to voice such positive news about the experience of care you have witnessed. The team will be so pleased that they have made such a difference. Kind Regards.
My mum in law came into Kingswood quite poorly and in need of love and attention. Within days she was settled into her new home and within weeks she was very much improved. I believe the improvement is a credit to the staff of Kingswood who seem to have the time, expertise and love needed to make the residents feel special.
Many thanks for taking the time to review the care and services at Kingswood Manor. We are pleased that you are able to give such positive feedback and our care team take great satisfaction from knowing that their hard work has been recognised, it will give them a real boost. Kind regards
I am a local musician and volunteered to come and play to residents after seeing the amazing work done by Kingswood's activities coordinator. Her imagination, drive and commitment to the residents really inspired me.
Many thanks for taking the trouble to review the home from your unique position as a volunteer. We very much appreciate the time you spend with our residents and the positive feedback you give may well encourage others to consider this home as a place for their loved one. Kind regards
On entering Kingswood Manor there are no offensive smells to greet you. (A good sign right away) The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, the common areas and mum's bedroom are kept clean. The staff are wonderful, attentive, patient and caring. They are a really dedicated team. The lady who arranges activities is amazing. She does an excellent job of providing entertainment for the residents daily. She is also very caring and has an abundance of patience. The "homely" feel in Kingswood Manor is nurtured by all staff from the manager down. I would recommend Kingswood Manor to anyone who wants their loved one safe and well cared for.
Thank you for your review of our home. Your kind works and comments are much appreciated by all and I am sure Sandra the Home Manager, with her team will be pleased that you have been so positive about life in Kingswood Manor. Kind regards.
My cousin has been in the above home for approximately 8 months, she is very happy and contented. Always looks clean and treated with the greatest respect by staff. I would recommend this home to anyone.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review our home. We are sure that your positive feedback will encourage others to consider the Manor as a home for a loved one. Kind Regards
