Our friend is a resident at Cambridge Court Care Home. He appears very happy and content here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming when we visit.
I am very impressed with the variety of activities they provide for the residents which keeps them active and engaged regularly.

I went to visit a family member in Covid restrictions, the residential home is clean and the staff were lovely. My relative looked happy and relaxed and there seemed to be a great buzz and atmosphere about the place!

Cambridge Court Care Home is a very professional and well-run care home by both the manager and all staff.
Everyone is extremely friendly and very caring.
My mum has been in the home for a year and I am very pleased with the high level of care she receives. It gives me great comfort that Mum is in
a safe environment and being well looked after.
The event's programmes are well organised and engaging for the residents. My husband and I attended the Christmas singalong and it was absolutely brilliant and so uplifting for everyone. It was wonderful to see a big smile on Mum's face!
The manager provides regular updates to families by email, text and monthly newsletters. Their Facebook page gives you a real insight into what is happening in the home and it is lovely to see photos of your loved ones even when you cannot see them in person.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the love and care Mum receives and would happily recommend the home to anyone.

My mum had been looked after brilliantly by all the staff, they have kept me updated regularly on her health and well being. The food is excellent and well balanced with the staff knowing what Mum likes and activities have improved greatly and the outside space is being designed for maximum enjoyment.

My mum has been a resident at Cambridge Court Care Home for about eighteen months now. I am very pleased with the care she receives and the way she is included in all their activities, even though she has very little sight and dementia it is wonderful to see her included as she was a very social person
in the past. Covid restrictions make it difficult to visit but I am kept up to date with video calls, texts, a newsletter and social media posts. They have recently built a lovely garden for the residents and will make outside visits such a pleasure when the weather improves. The manager and staff are wonderful and have made my mum feel welcome and I thank them all.

My mum has been a resident for nearly 2 years. The staff are so caring and the activities are amazing helped to bring life back to so many. Mum is warm and safe has a lovely bright room and the care home include me in all they do for them keeping me updated during these covid times. I thank them all.

We moved Mum from another care home as we were unhappy with the arrangements there. We're so glad we made the move and Mum is doing great despite our fear that she would struggle to adjust to new carers and surroundings as she has late-stage Alzheimer's dementia.
The managers and staff have been wonderful
and have done everything possible to make Mum feel welcome and cared for. There's a great atmosphere in the home, lots of activities and home-cooked "real" food rather than frozen ready meals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cambridge Court to those looking for a home with a heart!

My mum has been at Cambridge Court for four weeks and as a family, we feel it’s the forever home for our mum. The manager, the assistant manager and every one of the staff have made my mum and our family very welcome, they have gone that extra mile to help our mum settle in and so us as a family have
become a part of their family. Mum has dementia and can be difficult at times but the carers can always get her to smile with their kindness and is settling in. Mum is always clean and well-fed (cake is her favourite) different menu every day and hot. I feel when I walk in my mum is safe and happy and that’s down to the whole team so thank you from me and my mum.

My 85-year-old mum has been a resident at Cambridge Court for over two years now. She suffers with various health issues including onset dementia and requires 24-hour care and the biggest compliment I can give is that she is healthier and happier now than before she arrived. It’s never an easy decision
when that day comes but thanks to the amazing, hard-working and caring staff we know Mum is being cared for and looked after and is with professionals who genuinely make her quality of life much better. Cambridge Court is a lovely building and Mum’s room is very comfortable, always clean and with her own en-suite toilet. Mum is always clean and well dressed and gets involved with so many fun activities which we can share on Facebook. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Cambridge Court and can’t thank all the staff enough for the care they provide for my lovely mum.

My mum has been a resident at Cambridge Court for around eighteen months now, the care Mum has received has been excellent, staff are lovely and really do care about the residents, there is always a lot of entertainment, crafting, dancing, singing etc to maintain the resident's mental wellbeing. Huge
thank you to the manager and her team for giving the best care and keeping everyone safe during the last year, especially during the pandemic, how on earth they've coped, I don't know, must have been very challenging for all. The manager has adhered to all the guidelines in place and ensured my mum has got through this, we are incredibly grateful to you all.

I highly commend the manager and her team for every aspect of Mum's care. She is cared for affectionately, with respect for her dignity. Cambridge Court has a very friendly atmosphere and we are always warmly welcomed. Mum is thriving here and we have the peace of mind that she is safe, well fed (she
often comments on how good the food is!), and entertained. A range of activities are provided for those who want to join in and we are kept up to date with goings-on in regular newsletters and a Facebook page. We often spot Mum singing along. The staff are lovely and we are very grateful to them, especially over the past year when it has been so difficult for everyone.

My dad has been in Cambridge Court for the last six-seven weeks and the way they have looked after him has been absolutely superb. The staff are so friendly, helpful and go over and above what you would expect. A really personal touch with things like breakfast and also treat him as if he has been there
for years. The whole family really appreciate what you are doing.

This home is absolutely amazing. Dad now requires more care than we could give and we had to make the heart-breaking decision for him to move to the home. Every member of staff is a credit to the caring profession. The home is so well led by the manager who has shown my dad and our family so much care
and compassion. All staff are caring and compassionate and I would recommend the care to anyone who needs it. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone goes above and beyond. This care is outstanding.

I cannot thank the staff enough in Cambridge Court who are looking after my lovely dad. Hardest decision of my life for Dad to go into permanent care but the best. He is well cared for, looked after, entertained. The staff go above and beyond in their daily duties. Thank you so much.

I have been very pleased with the care my mother has received at Cambridge Court, especially since March when the UK went into Lockdown. As usual, the nurses always communicate with me when my mum is ill or has appointments and since lockdown the manager has kept us constantly informed through Facebook,
mobile calls and messages and will help with any communication with my mother. Activities for the residents have continued with events and themed evenings/meals, the staff are constantly endeavouring to create an engaging, entertaining home life for the residents which is very much appreciated. I am very impressed with the manager, she is passionate, determined and keenly interested in the residents' welfare and relatives' concerns. Her enthusiasm fills me with confidence that my mother will be taken care of. I especially appreciate the hard work and dedication all the staff have shown over the Coronavirus period which being so traumatic must have been very difficult.

My mum has been a resident of Cambridge Court Care Home since 2019. Yes at first I was worried an had lots of thoughts of if I'd done the right move for Mum. Mum has vascular dementia, and I can't begin to give great thanks for all the support the staff have given her and us her family. As this past
year has been so difficult and we've not been able to see her an hold her hand, I know my sons, her grandsons and their partners have found this really difficult, and for Mum to have not been able to hold her first great-grandson is upsetting but we're looking forward to that day to a brighter time when we can get that picture of a family group.
Just to end by say a massive 'thank you' to all at Cambridge Court for looking after our mum.

My sister has been a resident since July 2018 and we are happy with the care she is receiving, even in normal times we are unable to visit often as we live in Essex. Receiving regular messages and seeing on Facebook the activities which take place are appreciated. We especially enjoy seeing photos of

My name is Alena, I have a Level 7 diploma in strategic management and Level 4 in Leadership and management in health and social care. I became a manager at Cambridge Court in November 2019 and have over 20 years of experience in care. I have a real passion for caring for the elderly and how to make a real difference in their everyday lives. I motivate her team to achieve the best outcomes for all who live at Cambridge Court and involve families and friends in the care as much as possible.
We have been nominated in two categories for National British care awards and also in Dementia care awards. We feel honoured as those nominations came form our families and their recognition of our hard work is the one which matters the most.

Michelle joined the team in 2020 and became a deputy manager in January 2021. She is an excellent support to the home manager and staff, always smiling and positive. Every issue has a solution.
