The exceptional staff are a stable team and many have been with the home for over 10 years. All staff are highly trained and believe in person-centred care for all residents.

An on-site chef designs and cooks beautiful home cooking. On arrival, staff will sit down with residents and their families to discuss likes/dislikes and preferences of food.

The home provides activities to stimulate physical and mental well being.

Staff are kind and understanding of the family's concerns. We were worried about our mum, and our anxieties were met with understanding and kindness. Mum is well cared for in all ways, and we couldn't wish for a nicer group of people to leave her with.

Ann Nolan has several years of experience as a nurse and 30 years as a home manager. She has a BSc Hons in Gerontology and is a registered mental health and general nurse (the U.K. trained).


Ann's speciality is caring for fragile and older people. During her career, Ann has been a ward sister for the NHS, a home manager for nursing homes in the UK, and a care manager in Australia, where she also trained to be a practice nurse and worked for a rural surgery for one year.
