The Mariners Park has accepted my wife as a respite resident about six times per year over the past three years.
I find the staff most friendly, courteous and kind at all levels from management down. "A good captain enjoys a happy ship".
There are times when existing staff are hard pressed such as
morning rising, dinner time and bedtime, however, I realise it could be overstaffed at other times. This comment is an observation not a complaint. When staff are told of a residents individual requirements all are very keen to meet requirements all staff are most supportive of 24/7 carers like myself (congratulations).

My mother in law was booked in for six nights to give her husband a rest, she is 82 and he is 84. Upon entering her room, she cried that she didn't want to stay in.
At the end of six nights, when we went to collect her, she grabbed hold of a carer and said she didn't want to go home.
What more can

I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. I have 27 years experience working in the care sector and Mariners really does tick every box.
