My dad has been a resident at Sharston House for 18 months now. He has advanced dementia. All the staff (management, carers, catering, domestic) take time to deliver on exceptional level of care to both my dad and my family. Nothing is too much trouble and I can tell my dad is very settled and happy and feels quite at home. The activity coordinators/ lifestyle coordinators organise an impressive variety of activities throughout of the week which are engaging and fun. Huge thanks for making a challenging/ sad situation much more bearable xx
Thank you for your kind review and for always being so supportive of our team. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to care for your dad at Sharston. It has been our pleasure to look after him.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful words and continued support.Kind regards

I am very happy with the care and consideration of the great team at Sharston House. Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother is very well cared for. She gets wholly involved with the varied daily activities, which is a joy to see. Great team who know her personality well and preempt when she is not herself. We really appreciated the help Sharston provided in orchestrating a move to a new room, which has a lovely view of the gardens.
Thank you for the lovely comments and taking time to complete the review.

The staff are very friendly and caring and helpful this is shown when helping the residents with their needs. There are difficult activities each day which the residents get involved in. The home is kept very clean and tidy. My aunt says the food is lovely and tasty. I would certainly recommend Sharston to my friends.

From the moment my sisters and I visited Sharston House, we knew it was the right place for our elderly father. The home has a truly lovely, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts us at ease. Although our much-loved dad was only a resident for a short time, my lasting impression of Sharston House is overwhelmingly positive. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any member of staff, and the care and kindness shown to him meant more to us than words can say. Thank you to everyone who looked after our dad so well. You helped make an incredibly difficult decision a little easier for our family.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a kind review. We're delighted to hear that you were happy with the care provided for your father. Our team takes great pride in delivering the highest standard of care and creating a warm, homely environment for all our residents. It was mum's 101st birthday on 9th Jan! The staff at Sharston House, where she resides, were wonderful. A party was organised to celebrate the occasion and family and friends were invited. It was a joyous gathering and my mum was surrounded by so much love and affection by all. Such a precious moment, captured by many photos. Many thanks to all the staff, especially the two who arranged everything and the kitchen staff.
Thank you again for the lovely comment, and it was a pleasure to organise a lovely birthday treat for mum and you all. As you know, we all love our residents, especially your mum; she is lovely. Highly appreciated all your support and feedback.

My 88-year-old dad has been in Sharston House Nursing Home in Knutsford since October 2024, having been admitted with dementia and Parkinson's symptoms. He has been happy and comfortable there throughout his residency, and the staff have always taken very good care of him. I live in the U.S., so it is hard to monitor his health, but they always keep me up to date on any developments and tell me how he is feeling. Everyone is kind, caring, skilled, and efficient. Bindu, the manager, always calls or emails me if I have any concerns, and I never feel out of the loop, even being so far away. I get weekly updates on resident activities; there are always fun things happening like bingo, bowling, chair yoga, art classes, or music hours. Even if my dad is not well enough to do those things, I like that he has the option. They also have special events for the holidays, dog days, and pampering days. I am incredibly satisfied with the level of care at Sharston House and am comforted to know that
Good morning and thank you so much for taking time to give our team a lovely review.Thank you for all your support and trust in our team

I am very happy with the level of care being received by my wife.
Thank you for taking the time to give us the lovely words and all the support .

Our mother was resident at Sharston House for over a year. Despite having advanced Parkinson's disease with difficult to manage symptoms and a complicated medication regime, the staff at Sharston House were positive in their approach, and their compassion and understanding of what our mother was going through surpassed our best expectations. During the time leading up to and during palliative care they were understanding of our need for feedback and welcomed our frequent family visits. Nothing seemed too much despite their busy schedules. Mum really felt at home and loved during her stay and that is tantamount to the personal care she received. We as daughters had the assurance that not just her health needs were being met, but that she was being looked after with genuine kindness, consideration and affection. Thank you to Bindhu and all her care team. I have no hesitation to recommend you to others looking for care for a loved on
Good morning .I hope you are well.
Thank you very much for the lovely and heartfelt review you and your sister gave for our staff at Sharston. It was a privilege to look after your mum and to meet your family. You all have been so supportive and understanding. Highly appreciated your time to give us the review.
Kind regards
Bindhu
Every staff member took time to get to know her - her likes, her little routines, and the things that made her smile. Even as her Parkinson's progressed and her needs became increasingly complex, they adapted, constantly striving to increase the regularity of her Consultant visits and ensuring the local G.P. visited her regularly.
During Mum's final days, the tenderness and dignity they gave her meant the world to us. They made sure she was never in pain and not left alone unless a family member was visiting.
The standards of Nursing are exemplary - which ensured Mum could remain at Sharston as per her wishes to her last days (rather than moving to a hospice or hospital).
She was surrounded by calm and kindness.
I am so heartbroken to lose my gorgeous Mum, but I will forever be grateful that she spent her last year in such loving hands
Good morning. I hope you are well.

I completed my general nursing and midwifery in 1995 in India. Started my nursing career and worked in super speciality hospitals in medical and surgical wards till 2004.
After moving to the UK, I worked as a staff nurse at Macclesfield General Hospital for 6 years and in different healthcare settings as a nurse.
I joined Kingsley Healthcare in 2019 and held roles as Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager and now Home Manager as of 2022.
I am compassionate, dedicated, caring, and supportive to the residents, family and staff and a good team player.

I qualified as a mental health nurse in 2007. I spent 7 years working in the NHS for Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust before moving into the care home sector. I have worked in a wide variety of residential, nursing and nursing dementia homes as a clinical lead, unit manager, and deputy manager, and I was a home manager for the last 5 years before deciding to step back into the deputy role. I love being around the residents and getting to know all about them and their families. I thrive in challenging situations and like that no day is ever the same. I am a very positive and supportive person and like to empower my team to be the best they can. I am mum to 3 grown-up sons, and to de-stress, I love a good crime series or horror film to watch or maybe a good Stephen King book to read.
