When we chose Sharston House for my mother we made a very wise choice. At the age of 97, after living on her own with help she reached the point where she needed 24-hour care. We, her family, have been most impressed by all the staff at the home. Mum settled in well, enjoying good food provided by an excellent Chef and regular activities and entertainment which was provided by super, happy activities staff.

The nurses and carers are pleasant, hard working and well motivated. The manager and administrator have always been very approachable, understanding and helpful. Excellent!

My mum has continued to thrive in Sharston House.

She is 97 years old, blind and arthritic so has her up's and downs but she is very well fed and looked after. She looks forward to the activities every day and the staff are good to her.

My mother received intermediate care after a major operation. All the staff are friendly and attentive and very thoughtful. Mum was well cared for, care tailored to her individual needs. She felt content and secure and it was a good place for her to make her recovery from surgery.

It is the quality and caring nature of each staff member, no matter what their task, that single out Sharston from the rest.

I would not entrust my wife to anybody else at this point time - 21st July 2018 BUT today there was an avoidable incident!

Having stayed in Sharston 2 weeks for rehabilitation, I was treated extremely well indeed. The service was excellent and all my medication attended to professionally. Concern was shown when the staff thought I might have an infection so the doctor was called to make sure my health didn't deteriorate. All was well. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I thank you for our care.

Each time my wife and I visit my mum, the staff at Sharston house are very welcoming and friendly. They are always very caring to Mum and understand her needs, likes and dislikes.

Today they put on a lovely birthday party for Mum and family, had her dressed in her birthday outfit with her hair done; she looked lovely. They laid on special activities for her birthday party with games to keep my mother's 4-year-old great-grandson occupied which was a nice touch. The catering for the party was excellent.

Huge improvements here at Sharston since the new manager took over. The events/ activities coordinator. The team are excellent here, providing a lovely range of varied activities 7 days a week, not just aimed at those residents in the lounge, but also those in their rooms/bed as my mother often is now. The staff laid on a lovely birthday party here today for my mum and all our family. Really excellent.

My nanna always seems to be well cared for and happy at Sharston House each time I visit. The home has a nice feel to it and the staff are always very caring and helpful. Her room is always kept clean and tidy.

We had a family party there yesterday for nanna's birthday which was well organised and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The chef had made a superb birthday cake for the party.

The nursing home was recommended to me, as my husband needed full-time nursing care.
On arrival, I was taken by the pleasant staff to the resident's meeting, organised by the staff. I listened to the work the staff do and their aim of high standards.

The two weeks of my husband's stay, my daughter and I visited nearly twice every day, we have noted the dedication and hard work put in by the staff. They have created a homely, friendly and caring atmosphere, approachable and willing.
