The staff are lovely when we come to visit and so helpful with organising visits and trips out. The home always looks clean and well cared for and the staff are always happy to help with anything we need. I couldn't recommend Weston Park more!

Overall Experience
My wife has been a resident here since December 2024, a situation I am still struggling with over a year and a half on from her admission.
However it has been made much more bearable due to the care my wife is receiving there, from the nursing care ( my wife has primary progressive MS ) to the care assistants who help her walking and transferring and including the activities team, who have collectively made these new circumstances easier for me to come to terms with.
All the various departments seem to me to work tirelessly keeping the rooms, lounges and dining areas clean and well maintained I am there a lot morning afternoons and some evenings, there is always cleaning being done.
The laundry turn around is a constant amazement to me it so quick, food is good too, I simply do not recognise the home mentioned in the review.

All staff and John ( manager) are professional and approachable.

Review from Lynn M (Wife of Resident) published on 4 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
This is an appalling carehome, my husband spent 90% of his 5 months here suffering, no communication, extremely poor hygiene, incompetent care staff, broken personal items and stolen, ignorant manager (John). Serious incidents not documented so go ignored, Missed meals or inedible. Safeguarding involved not just with our complaints but own staff complained too.
If you complain of poor care staffing your classes as a nuisance, wouldn't need to complain if your loved one was being cared for and treated like a human not a number.
Even staff left due to being treated appallingly, Says it all doesn't it. They show fun days on fb, there was no fun in my husbands building, 80% left to rot in their own beds and in their own excrement.
Please do not leave your loved ones here if you want to feel relaxed they are being taken care of because they simply won't be.

I'm limited to what I need to say but what is more important is safeguarding know everything my poor husband suffered.

This review is not unexpected as the resident wasn't happy from the moment he arrived. Everything was done to meet his needs however, in the end I had to serve notice as it was not fair on my staff.

The residents wife said that he would be just the same wherever he moved to. I think it worth noting that he asked could he stay at Weston Park.

My wife went into Weston Park 5.5.2026. I met the manager, two months before, he showed me round, spent an hour answering my questions, which I was very impressed with. I am pleased with every aspect of her care the food, her room with a lovely view. The carers are very attentive, and don't mind me pointing out things about my wife. Im very happy with her care and go back home with peace of mind.

John was admitted to Weston Park Care Home on 27th March 2026. At that time, I was suffering from severe stress. I was greeted by Sabina, a sensible, knowledgeable lady who was extremely kind and compassionate. We were introduced to some of the carers who all had a friendly smile and were helpful. I also spoke to John, the manager, who put my mind at rest. The nurses in charge have constantly been communicative and kind when I phoned to enquire about my husband. I cannot comment on the food/facilities/activities as I have not experienced them. I am very happy with the care my husband receives, I feel he is safe and very well looked after.

My husband has been a resident here for 11 months. I was initially apprehensive about putting him into nursing care as he has dementia but I feel relieved to have found excellent care given by wonderful caring staff.
He isn't just cared for he is loved and treated with kindness and respect.
His room is cleaned to a high standard and the food is nutritious and plentiful. The carers are quick to help him to eat and drink if needed.
Everyone is very approachable and always quick to deal with any issues that may arise.

Thank you x

I recently visited an old school friend at Weston Park. It was my first visit and the staff were very friendly and helpful, showing me to my friend's room. A nurse was in the room giving my friend a drink and was so gentle and kind. I found the home to be bright and clean. I was very impressed by all I saw, and the patients are obviously cared for well.

Since the first day my mother has been receiving care at Weston Park she has been relaxed and happy. She looks and is healthier than she has been in a long time. All the staff do an amazing job of coming for mum and all the residents. The home is incredibly clean and mum is enjoying the variety of food from which she can choose from daily. We have absolutely no concerns and we highly recommend Weston Park for caring for loved ones.
