I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. My Grandma is in good hands which is such a relief for our family. The staff were so caring and nice, what a lovely bunch of people.

If you are looking for the perfect care home for your loved one, you have found it at Dove Court. The setting is very pleasant, homely and spotlessly clean. The staff are very professional, exceptionally caring, kind and understanding - dedicated not only to the care and welfare of the residents but also to the family.
My sister was treated with respect and dignity at all times, giving the family peace of mind.

We cannot thank them enough.

I chose Dove Court Care Home, Burnley, because, after viewing other, local care homes, I was very happy by the cleanliness of both home and grounds. Then after a natter with staff/management that clinched the deal. They were so pleasant and informative, and at the end of the meeting, I had no question to ask as all was explained in full. My mother, as of now, has been there for 3 months and is so content and settled, it is wonderful. So much care and attention is done to everyday tasks. Mother is fussy in many ways but has been saying that she does not want to move as they look after her really well and care for her. If Mum can say that then that gives me peace of mind. A very highly recommended care home.

Not enough staff for residents that need considerable help with all tasks including mobility toilets etc. Not enough continuity with staff members about residents. Too noisy. Don't come here if you want peace and quiet.

My father was a resident of Dove Court for a period of 4 and a half weeks, whilst recuperating from a serious illness. The standard of nursing and personal care was excellent nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When dad needed further medical treatment a doctor was called promptly and medication prescribed.

Dove Court provided Dad with a warm and caring environment. All the family were made welcome and the staff were approachable and kept us fully informed. This excellent care, seen and unseen allowed dad to recover and return home which was his expressed desire.

Lovely, caring staff. Clean to a very high standard. Management extremely helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Initially very sceptical about putting 'pops' in a care home but very happy to say it was a good decision. The time we have left together is now quality time.
