My family member was only with you a short time, but the staff went above and beyond. They are a credit to you. I couldnt fault them nothing was too much trouble, They looked after my mother amazingly and treated her with dignity in her final days. I would recommend the facility to anyone that asked. I wish all care facilities were like this. Thankyou again to all the staff.

My mum was moved to Hope House as end of life. I'm so pleased I chose here. I felt so comfortable and knew my mum would feel the same. From management to domestics, it was like a big family. All staff could not do enough for my mum right to the minute she passed, holding her hand till we arrived. The comfort we got afterwards was outstanding. They all need a medal. can't praise them enough. x
Thank you for sharing this review, its really comforting to hear that your mum was so well cared for at Hope House, and that the team supported both your mum and your family with kindness and dignity right to the end.

From the very first day, the care home has shown my grandad nothing but kindness, dignity, and genuine compassion. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure he feels safe, comfortable, and truly cared for, not just physically but emotionally as well.
The staff treat residents like family, taking the time to get to know them as individuals, with patience, respect, and warmth. My grandad is always spoken to with kindness, included in conversations, and encouraged to stay engaged and positive. It gives our whole family immense peace of mind knowing he is in such capable and caring hands.
The home itself is always clean, welcoming, and well-organised, creating a calm and comforting environment. Communication with family members is excellent - we are made to feel part of the team . Thank you
Your kind words about our team and the peace of mind this gives...
Just want to say a big thank you to Cathy, Jade and all the staff at Hope House for caring for my sister, Christina, for many years. She sadly passed away on 09/01/26. The staff treated her with respect and dignity. So thank you again, see you all soon xx

Since my dad has moved into Hope House, he's found a new lease of life, he's formed brilliant bonds with staff, who have gone above & beyond to make him feel at home. The home itself is always clean, tidy and smells fresh, which gives a good impression when I visit. I feel reassured by staff; they always take the time to talk to me during my visits. I'm incredibly grateful for the team at Hope House. I have now got a father-in-law and my own father at Hope House and can't fault the care for both.

My nan has recently come to hope house and the staff have made her feel at home and also made my family feel at home. My nan has really settled in and is enjoying life again. Thank you to the staff at Hope House.

My great-grandad is currently living at Hope House, and we couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving. Although he had the chance to return home once his baseline was reached, he chose to stay because he feels so well looked after there. Every time we visit, he looks well presented & clearly content. The staff are always friendly, helpful & quick to respond to the buzzer. The home itself is clean, welcoming & always smells fresh. Small details make a big difference. It gives our family peace of mind knowing he is in a supportive & caring environment. We are truly grateful to the Hope House team.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear your great-grandad is happy, healthy and well cared for. You feedback means a lot to our team at Hope House.
The care home manager is awful, very controlling over service user patients contact with family members. The home manager is very aggressive on the phone especially over contact or visits with family members, We have attempted to visit my mum and been refused access by phone or in person, they control my mums money access to her own money & blame safeguarding, previously mentioning police advised no contact with family, this is clear lies as Lancashire police confirmed this is untrue, a person known to me apparently advised the care home not to allow the son any contact nor his family for no reason, it's simple lies, my mums 85 we have a large house with granny annexe built & this home is charging my mum £200 a day or £1400 per weekly/mum had been made confused when she should be with us her family, this home is only interested in profiting from old people, mums assets & home is now at risk. not been reviewed by the CQC since 2018.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear your concerns. We are committed to providing a warm, supportive and respectful environment for all our residents. We understand this matter is now being managed, and we will continue to speak with you directly to provide any support you may need.
My grandad has been at Hope House for 4 months now, he has settled in so well. The staff are very caring and kind, and we as a family are happy we have made the right choice in care homes. Thank you for looking after my grandad.
Thank you so much for you kind words. We are so pleased to hear that your grandad has settled into Hope House so well. Hearing that the staff are kind and caring means so much to us, and that you are happy with your choice of having your grandad in our care.
My sister was given the best possible care. Staff of all grades were so kind and caring, nothing was too much trouble. She was nursed in a loving, dignified manner and she was made so comfortable in her final hours. Her room was welcoming and bright, with many of her own reminders of home encouraged to be brought to the home. Advice and support were always available for us, her relatives, even when she passed. We are so grateful to all Hope House staff.
Thank you very much for such a wonderful review for Hope House, we do appreciate your very kind words and your ratings. Kind regards
My father-in-law was admitted to Hope House for the final days of his life in a palliative care situation. Unfortunately, he was not able to get to know the staff personally due to his decline. His admission unfortunately was only over a 3-week period, leading to his passing from cancer. We as family would like to thank all of the staff involved in his care. He was well cared for and the staff did all that they could for him and us as a family. Special thanks to the assistant manager, night staff nurse and day staff nurse. Thank you to all involved. With loving gratitude.
Thank you very much for your review and kind words, it is very much appreciated. Kind regards.
The aim was to get stronger and put on some weight as I was very weak, very poorly. As to date now I am at a healthier weight and able to walk with a walking stick. The staff are fantastic, they listen and never show anything but patience.
The management go above and beyond to help you as much as they can. I can witness that.
What a wonderful review of Hope House, thank you, it is so very much appreciated. Kind regards
