After a previous bad experience in a care home, it was a refreshing experience when my Dad came to Hope House. Both Dad and family were welcomed and well cared for. We could leave him at night reassured that he was safe and looked after. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient and nothing is too much trouble.
The home is friendly and comfortable with very kind, professional, caring staff. The home also has a very kind and helpful "handy man", nothing is too much trouble for him from fixing bird table, pictures, TV to chatting to residents. Staff listen to any help or advice you can offer about your relative.
After a bad experience in a previous care home, resulting in a lengthy hospital admission, my husband was transferred to Hope House. All the staff have shown infinite patience and understanding and I now feel I can relax and have confidence in leaving my husband in their care. Hope House is clean, safe and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Hope House to anyone needing special care.

I really enjoy the food and we have plenty of choices.
Dad says the manager is very good and goes out of her way to help. The only thing that could be improved is more carers.
I have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and well trained. The home is in very pleasant surroundings across from a park and in the summer residents will often be taken to the park for some time outdoors. There are many activities available but my sister only makes use of only a few of these preferring to stay in her room and her wishes are respected.
My aunt is very happy here.

I find this home (Hope House) excellent in every way it conducts itself. Staff are very helpful. The personal attention they give to my mother is excellent. The condition of the place itself is very good. It is a very well run place in all aspects - credit to management and staff.

My Mum has lived at Hope House since 2010, that is how long they have been promising to replace the windows. Thye have a lovely view of the park from the lounge but the glass is so bad you cannot see through it. My Mum's bedrooms windows are the same. The outside of the home looks scruffy and unloved. It should be lovely with good views of the park as most residents don't go out. It looks very depressing from the inside. The then manager said the money was ready in January.
Many thanks for your feedback on Hope House, the plans for the windows to be replaced are being addressed and this was identified by us as a new provider when we acquired the home recently.
I feel so happy to have found this lovely place for my sister. I was delighted she asked to stay after her 6 week trial period. Everyone is so wonderful to her, the staff and the manager can't do enough for her. She loves the food and looks forward to meal times sitting with her 2 new friends at their table. Above all, she feels safe from falling and her alarm bell is just by her side at night in her bed. I live a long way from here, near Southampton and when I leave here to go home, I will leave happy in the knowledge she's happy here!

I enjoy my care at Hope House, the manager is very loving and caring, the carers are brilliant, also the nurses. Nothing is too much trouble, the cleanliness all over is very good, and my needs are cared for when required. The food is good overall, in fact, I would tell everyone who needs care and respite will get the best service in the world!
I would not recommend this nursing home to anyone.

I visit my sister almost daily and have always found her treatment and care very good. If I have any requests or questions the staff deal with them very well. They are always very civil and I am treated with the utmost respect from them all.
My dad as been resident at Hope House since June 2015. The staff and management have always been very caring and helpful to both my dad and my family. Its a very friendly and clean nursing home I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone.
