Standing in four acres of landscape grounds with spectacular views of the surrounding Lancashire countryside, Springhill Care Home provides top quality luxury en-suite accommodation, and personalised care and support for adults and older people with a variety of needs.

The Care Home and Care Centre are both therapeutic but homely, designed for care, yet beautifully appointed. Springhill Care Home has been designed from the outset with the aim of providing an atmosphere that is both supportive and purposeful, aiming to strike a good balance between appropriate stimulation and calm.

At Springhill, everyone is encouraged to continue living life to the full. Even with an awareness of limitations residents are encouraged to enjoy the benefits of a lifestyle support team, who work alongside care and support staff enabling residents to enjoy a range of activities.

My mother resided at Springhill for 13-months. She was treated with the utmost respect, treated with dignity and compassion. The staff were a wonderful team, providing support and reassurance towards my mother and family. The staff were extremely professional. My mother was kept clean, her personal

I cannot fault the care that my husband received at Springhill Care Home. He spent four months there during a very difficult time. From the front of house staff, carers with whom he formed supportive relationships - the continuity of care helped greatly as he got to know them - to the quality of nursing
care at the end was commendable. I thank them all on my and the family's behalf.

My late mum was lucky enough to get a room at Springhill in August 2017 after being neglected in a previous nursing home; Mum had dementia and Parkinson's.
Every staff member myself and my family had contact with whilst Mum lived there, treated us all with dignity and respect, from domestics, care
assistants, maintenance staff and management, Mum was looked after with love and care. Sadly Mum passed away peacefully on the 12th of March 2020, just before the dreaded Covid invaded everyone's lives. My family and I know that all the staff at Springhill did everything they could to make Mum's final days and hours as comfortable as they could possibly be, allowing us to be with her and checking in on us often. My brother and I intended to visit the home after Mum's funeral, however, Covid had other ideas and to enable everyone to stay safe we haven't had a chance to go back and offer our thanks to everyone again; we sent a card, but it didn't seem enough so thank you all and keep up your good work.

My mother came to Springhill after a broken hip operation - the home sensibly did a covid test before admitting Mum. They made the process, and the covid protection was excellent for all. I could only visit Mum once, I was advised she would pass. In the three weeks, Mum was with Springhill, she and
I were treated with dignity and respect. Staff kept me informed on a regular basis about Mum. Mum was 91 with all her faculties but had found life a struggle - vision going - care for herself, she wanted to pass. I highly recommend this home, well managed, wonderful staff and the best in the area. Keep your high standards; thank you all.

My partner has been in Springhill 13 months. The standard of care is exceptional, the staff are dedicated to their residents, nothing is too much trouble. I was anti care home, but it was what my partner needed. The staff have been very patient and understanding and helped me through my concerns. I
am now converted. My partner is in the dementia suite where he is well looked after, and so am I. I would recommend Springhill to anyone.

I come to Springhill Care Home every day to visit my partner and all the staff from reception and nurses, managers and night staff are very helpful and friendly. The care my partner is afforded is second to none. We love this place and as a family, that means everything to us.

My mum was only with you for just over two weeks but the care you gave her was amazing. Incredibly kind, your staff gave Mum her dignity. The nurse was particularly kind to Mum in her final hours.

Mum was comfortable and content whilst at Springhill. She continually commented on how lucky she was to have been placed there.
Her final days were serene and how she would have wanted. The staff were wonderful both with mum and the family and couldn't do enough to help.

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the nursing team in providing palliative care during the last 3 months fo my mum's life. Every member of staff regardless of role showed her kindness and their friendly attitude made our visits so much easier. Our only issue was with the poor en-suite
facilities in the first room, no heating and poorly equipped for frail residents. I was, however, delighted to secure a place where I felt confident and happy with the level of care.

My grandfather as in the Woodlands section at Springhill for approximately 19 months. In that time the amazing, kind, caring and wonderful team had cared and looked after his increasingly demanding needs. I could genuinely relax knowing that he was so cared for, no matter when I turned up he was always
clean, his room spotless and happy. Towards the end of his life, I was able to spend time with him, and I realised even more how many people were actually involved in his care. The whole team went above and beyond and thank you is not enough.

My father was a resident at Springhill for just over a year. The care he received there was superlative, and I couldn't have wished for abetter quality of care for my father. The environment is second to none and the staff were absolutely wonderful. I can't recommend Springhill Care Home more highly,

We couldn't have found a more caring place for our mum to be. She was a much loved, valued member of Springhill Care Home.
We were so comfortable and happy with mum being there. After suffering a massive stroke 3 years ago and unable to return home, mum was treated as part of a family at Springhill
Care Home and was genuinely loved by all the staff. She was treated with such care, love and dignity during her time there and they were lovely to us too, her large family and all her friends, right up until mum died on 6th May 2019.

My mother was in the home for just over five months and during that time, the staff ensured that her every need was catered for in a timely, diligent and caring manner.
Staff were always polite and helpful with me and the rest of the family and were always willing to share information of mum's situation.
I would recommend Springhill Care Home to anyone - five-star service!
