Springhill Care Home

My mum was only with you for just over two weeks but the care you gave her was amazing. Incredibly kind, your staff gave Mum her dignity. The nurse was particularly kind to Mum in her final hours.

Her final days were serene and how she would have wanted. The staff were wonderful both with mum and the family and couldn't do enough to help.

The care received to my partner was the very best anyone could have and I would recommend this care home to anyone. The staff go out of their way to make things better they don't just care with their hands they care with their hearts as well.

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the nursing team in providing palliative care during the last 3 months fo my mum's life. Every member of staff regardless of role showed her kindness and their friendly attitude made our visits so much easier. Our only issue was with the poor en-suite facilities in the first room, no heating and poorly equipped for frail residents. I was, however, delighted to secure a place where I felt confident and happy with the level of care.

My grandfather as in the Woodlands section at Springhill for approximately 19 months. In that time the amazing, kind, caring and wonderful team had cared and looked after his increasingly demanding needs. I could genuinely relax knowing that he was so cared for, no matter when I turned up he was always clean, his room spotless and happy. Towards the end of his life, I was able to spend time with him, and I realised even more how many people were actually involved in his care. The whole team went above and beyond and thank you is not enough.

My father was a resident at Springhill for just over a year. The care he received there was superlative, and I couldn't have wished for abetter quality of care for my father. The environment is second to none and the staff were absolutely wonderful. I can't recommend Springhill Care Home more highly, and my father received wonderful care there.

My husband was in the care of Springhill for three and a half years. During that time he was well looked after. The staff were always polite and friendly.

We were so comfortable and happy with mum being there. After suffering a massive stroke 3 years ago and unable to return home, mum was treated as part of a family at Springhill Care Home and was genuinely loved by all the staff. She was treated with such care, love and dignity during her time there and they were lovely to us too, her large family and all her friends, right up until mum died on 6th May 2019.

We were made to feel welcome and treated as more than just visitors. As my husband was only here for 4 days a lot of the questions I struggle to answer.

Staff were always polite and helpful with me and the rest of the family and were always willing to share information of mum's situation. I would recommend Springhill Care Home to anyone - five-star service!

Professional and very caring staff who cared for my father to a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from reception staff through to carers, nurses and domestic staff. A very genuine environment where family were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home.

My mother was admitted to Springhill Care Home in March 2019. As my mother is 95 years old we were anxious that her end of days were spent somewhere caring, pleasant and a good home! We are so pleased with the home.

Staff and surroundings: As my mum is now blind it is important for her to be surrounded with positive and caring staff! This is evident in my mother's views of being there and speaking about the staff with respect so well done Springhill.

When on Woodlands part of the care home, the staff were extremely caring individuals who I felt provided the best possible care for my dad form hygiene to dignity. They not only made him as comfortable as possible but gave me peace of mind, knowing that he was in safe hands. I never felt unable to express my wishes that were always acted upon where possible.

We could not have asked for better care for my father and can console ourselves in his passing that his last few years were as good as they could be under the circumstances.

The staff were very caring and compassionate. Dad was treated with care and all the help needed nothing was too much trouble for any staff member whether cleaning, catering, nursing or personal care. The family were made very welcome 24 hours a day when dad became ill and sadly passed away. We as a family highly recommend this home.

During his two stays in Springhill, my husband received very good care form the professional (for the most part) and friendly staff, with whom he built up several close rapport. His end of life care was exceptional, with love and tenderness being given to him. At all times I was kept informed of his treatment and all aspects of his care were discussed. The staff were also supportive of me during my recovery from major heart surgery.

When my mum went to Springhill Care Home we were so happy because of the staff and care is brilliant. My mum from day one is being looked after like a queen. So to anyone whose mother is looking for a good care home, Springhill Care Home is the best.

Springhill Care Home is a lovely place. The staff are so caring and committed to their work. From the moment you walk through the door, there is a warm welcome, but most importantly, the care they give to my mum is wonderful and we, the family, are grateful every day to the staff on Ribble View. You are all AMAZING.
