Abbey Grange in Sheffield provides residential, dementia and nursing care. The home is situated in the Firvale area, close to the Northern General Hospital and the celebrated Meadowhall shopping centre. Abbey Grange is well serviced by the nearby main bus route to Sheffield city centre and M1 motorway.

The home is a converted character building, which has been thoughtfully extended and refurbished. Abbey Grange stands in accessible and well laid out gardens, with attractive sitting areas.

I fill this in with regards to my late mother who passed away in September 2018.
My mum was happy in Abbey Grange. The staff were wonderful as were the management. She was made to feel relaxed and she enjoyed the banter with the staff.

My husband has been in Abbey Grange three and a half years with ever advancing Alzheimer's Disease.
From the outset, the staff have treated him with kindness and dignity, even when his behaviour was challenging.
I have always been involved in decisions about his care and been made to feel welcome.
I am very grateful to all the carers. Theirs is not an easy job and they work long hours - but always seem cheerful and friendly.

Dad came in as a permanent resident in early Jan'19. He was allocated a lovely room nearby the lounge. He settled in very well and is happy, safe and very well cared for. He loves the food and says the home is very warm and clean. The staff are excellent and we always feel welcome - so friendly and
genuinely caring for the residents. All in all, this gets 10/10 in our book.

Friendly, family-type care by all staff in their dealing with my uncle and family friends.
Extremely aware of the emotionally difficult type of decisions having to be made and always confidently supporting our different pathways needed.
Always approachable and giving confidence to my uncle so that
he feels relaxed, loved and confident in their dealings with him.

My dad has been a resident in Abbey Grange Nursing home for almost a year and has received excellent care in that time. This nursing home and staff are a credit to your organisation. The home is spotless, the staff are helpful, friendly and informative. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and welcomed like one of the family. The nursing and carers are fantastic. They inform you how your mum is doing.

During this month the staff went out of their way to make the home and all residents and visitors made to feel welcome, with smiling faces.
Nothing is too much trouble, no matter how busy they were, even inviting relatives to have Christmas lunch with their loved ones, which was a lovely Christmas

I have been pleased with the care my Mum has received. Staff have made time for both Mum and I. They are responsible, caring and do their job well. I have found the staff pleasant to deal with, both on the nursing and admin side.

She is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care to our residents. She operates an open-door policy and welcomes visits from families, friends, and visitors at any time.

Sharon is our Activity Coordinator at Abbey Grange, she is always coming up with creative ideas to keep our residents happy, occupied and entertained. We have a full weekly schedule of group activities and Sharon will get to know people individually in order to help them to continue the hobbies and pastimes that are important and meaningful to them.
