Been in this care home and this is a really good home. The staff are very caring and nothing was difficult for them to do for me. Very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

From my being admitted into Darnall Grange I was made to feel comfortable and at ease by all the staff. They all do everything for you and nothing is too much trouble. My mum has been a resident for two years. From the very beginning, all the staff made her as comfortable as possible, My wife's grandmother had previously been a resident and had a comfortable stay at Darnall Grange as well. Therefore we had no hesitation in choosing Darnall Grange for our mum.

Although my room was very clean, the commode was not cleaned every time I used it. Also, I had a bath (which was marvellous) but the transfer seat had poo on it which I found disgusting. Some of the carers were not trained in that. Nobody came to me telling me about any activities which I would have
responded to as I was spending all day in my room with the exception of physio. Having said that all the carers/nurses were on the whole great and so were the physio. Just need to get the commode sorted. I would recommend them.

My brother has been in the care home for about 3 months now. He is happy and his needs are met. The care and attention given to him by the staff is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. On Valentine's Day, they organised a care and special meal for him to share with his amazing wife. They treat
him with respect and understanding. Watching the staff with other residents, I can see this is across the board. The food is well cooked and everywhere is very clean.

My dad has come on in leaps and bounds, since arriving at Darnall Grange Care Home nearly 6 weeks ago. The staff cannot do enough for him and they are really particular with his personal hygiene. The food is really good and in ample supply for the residents.

Since being in Darnall Grange my mother has been given exceptional care she has been treated with so much care and understanding. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have been welcomed at all times. All the staff and the care home Manager are incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Darnall

The staff at Darnall Grange Care Home are amazing. They have so much patience and understanding of the residents in their care. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the nurses, carers and other staff are always there, willing to help and assist residents. We visit a resident on a regular basis and
are always grateful for the care and empathy the staff constantly provide even when faced with the difficult personality of dementia. Thank you.

Mum has been in Darnall Grange for several years and is happy and content there. The Manager is always there to help with any concerns and is hands-on with the residents. A credit to Hermes. Only a certain type of person can do a carer's job and at Darnall Grange, they are excellent and should be acknowledged
for what they do. Always friendly and attentive to mum's needs. The food is great (best roast potatoes!), and the kitchen staff and housekeeping are great. Mum's room is always clean. The Activities Coordinator is the perfect person for activities, just what the residents need! Certain staff most definitely need recognition for what they do, I know I can't name them but I am sure they know who I mean! Thank you for looking after mum.

Visit Mum every week, mainly on Thursday, with my partner each week and Mum's youngest sister. We know Mum is comfortable and safe. Very friendly staff. Good activities, lovely garden to sit in in the warmer weather/day (summer). Mum is safer than she would have been at home. Good meals served. Clean
and friendly. Love our visits, always smells fresh on arriving. Room lovely and modern. Thank you so much.

I have been transferred to Darnell Grange from hospital after major operation with a catheter for bladder. Staff have been excellent and helpful, despite the fact they are busy, they are really kind and helpful to all residents. Cleaning is excellent.

Darnall Grange provided an exceptional care service to my husband and also to myself. I cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent support to both of us. The staff at Darnall Grange Care Home were all really helpful and friendly and happy to answer questions or queries,
Mum wasn't in long, maybe a month but we were all happy knowing that she had 24 hour care available with the staff there.

I have enjoyed my stay in Darnall Grange. The staff here are very good and have been kind to me and when I leave the area with my wife I will keep in touch and I will always think of the care staff and residents in Darnall Grange. It is excellent, also the food is excellent here.
