My father was a resident of Darnall GrangeCare Home for almost 2 years. He was cared for sensitively and we felt confident that he was safe and well looked after. The staff at Darnall Grange were very caring and professional, making sure that he was comfortable and supported.

A very welcoming and friendly place where Dad's needs were catered for very well. All staff were very approachable and supportive to us as relatives.

Nothing was too much trouble for us or Dad and we will be eternally grateful for the loving care that was given, even though for only a short span of time. Thank you.

Mum stayed in Darnall Grange only a couple of months but for those months she was treated with such care. The staff were very friendly and supportive. Management went above and beyond to try and help us with mums needs. I would highly recommend Darnall Grange to anyone.

Since Dad moved to Darnall Grange (from a previous care home) the change in him has been incredible. He is settled and contented. All of the staff are lovely and have the right way to handle him. His room is lovely and everything is spotlessly clean. The interaction between the staff and residents is lovely to see.

I cannot praise the management and staff enough for what they have done for the care and support of my Dad, also my Mum previous to him.
Even on their busy times with a staff shortage, I could confidently know that he will still be looked after even to my high standard that I set.
The staff, management, carers, nurses, cleaners and maintenance.
All have a kind word and smile on their faces.

Thanks a lot to all and keep up the great work.

Review from Jeffery W (Husband of Resident) published on 23 November 2017 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
The staff are very good and they look after my wife.
They also talk to me.
I used to go and see her by using the bus but it stopped on the 3rd September and I could not go for 2 and a half months.
I now use a special van to go and see her.
I saw her last week and she is now a lot healthier.
So I do want her to come home and we can have a life together.
In 2018 we will be 70 years old.
So we do need to go out and about and enjoy our life.

The care home is very good.

Very good nursing home of my choice. Couldn't wish for better care for my husband. Plus the staff of all categories are more than kind to myself (I am age 76) and they are caring and considerate tom me. This home has a very homely and friendly atmosphere. I have also recommended this home to a neighbour whose father is now a resident also.
