My brother Richard has been in this lovely care home for the past 5 years after suffering a serious stroke.
He has been looked after so well and after his recent passing, I am writing to thank every member of staff for their care and love while Richard was a resident in the home.
He was extremely happy there and always treated like a member of a family
Even at the end of his life he was looked after gently and with dignity by making sure that he was comfortable in the last hours of his life.

I can certainly recommend this care home if anyone is considering care in their later life.

A caring loving environment where your relative is well looked after with dignity and respect. A well kept pleasant environment frequently updated to keep the resident stimulated. All the staff were amazing, special mentions to Lauren, Kirsty, Anne Marie, Cheryl and Sandra we are both very grateful to them for all the support they gave to dad and ourselves.

My mum spent around 18 months at the care home. Dad visited at least 5 times a week and was treated like one of the residents too.
In the last 3 weeks of Mums life it felt like the staff stepped up a level and were amazing.
Dad visited daily and the rest of the family frequently and nothing was too much trouble.
Making sure that we had food and drink and also allow us to talk or give us a hug if we needed one.
All the staff genuinely cared and loved Mum, we were all the same family.
Dad misses his visits and I'm sure they miss dad too. In fact Dad said if he ever found himself needing a care home he would happily go there.
What better testimony is that?

Thank you from all of us, we all think of Springfield with great fondness and gratitude.

Mum has, been in Springfield since November 2025. I cannot fault the care she has received. I feel so much less stressed now i know she has someone there 24/7 if needed. There always seems to be plenty of activity and residents have choice as to whether they join in. The staff are always on hand and happy to help with any queries we may have.
The bedrooms are always clean and mum is encouraged to wear clean olothing and her personal hygiene has improved greatly.

Nothing is too much trouble.

Our auntie has always been happy and comfortable since she arrived at Springfield three years ago. We have always felt that she has been safe and well looked after even when health issues have arisen. She has enjoyed events such as the afternoon teas and VE celebrations, painting and so much more. The fact that she lived to 97 indicated the level of care that she received, especially towards the end.

My cousin has been in Springfield for over 2 1/2 years, and his care over this time has been excellent. All the staff (but especially on CI) are wonderful, caring people who go the extra mile to help! They are friendly, helpful and very caring to the families also. We can't thank them enough and we are so grateful that he was in such very caring hands!

The staff care for the residents like they are their own family; they let you know straight away if they get ill. The staff on C1 were excellent.

Our mum was a resident at Springfield for just over two years. The staff have always been welcoming, friendly and kind and caring. During mums last days the carers and team leaders were amazing. So supportive could not have done any more to support and help in every way. I could not praise or recommend Springfield enough to anyone wanting and needing love and support for any family member.

I have recommended Springfield to my friends, the biggest compliment I can give!
Sadly our mum has recently passed away, having spent 2 years there. The staff treated mum with dignity, compassion and love -just as anyone would want their loved ones to be cared for.
Springfield is an amazing home; well managed and maintained - but the staff are on another level! They not only cared for mum but they looked after us ALL, especially when we were staying with mum 24/7 during her final days. We will NEVER EVER forget the kindness and consideration shown to mum and us; you made such a difference to our loss.
We know that you were heartbroken at losing one of your own, because that is what carers do THEY CARE! We are sorry for your loss too!
The staff KNEW her likes and dislikes, when she was happy (giving them 'the wink'), and when she needed extra support!
We will miss our visits to Springfield, and seeing the other residents who were so much a part of our mum's life.

Thank you all xxx

The care and attention my mum received whilst at Springfield was second-to-none.
During her time at Springfield, mum was always clean and dressed in her own clothes. The staff were very attentive checking on mum regularly, making sure she had plenty to drink and offered her snacks throughout the day, as she was often unable to make these type of decisions without prompting.

The staff on B1 were exceptional, caring, considerate and respectful both towards our family and our mum during her transition to palliative care/ end of live care.

Dad is well cared for and treated with great respect. When coming to see him staff are welcoming and it's now like dad's part of a larger family. Staff are/have been supportive on some occasions when Dad's illness has become too much to bear? Because of Springfield and all staff throughout, I can rest with peace of mind knowing Dad's safe.

I could not of wished for better carers to care for my grandma. The compassion they have shown throughout my grandma's time here has been incredible. I couldn't thank you all enough, you've all been amazing. From the minute my grandma was put on palliative care, the carers couldn't do enough for my family. Once again, thank you for all you've ever done for her. You're all amazing.

A big thank you for the wonderful care my mother received from April 2024 to February 2025. She quickly came to regard Springfield as her home - a tribute to the warm and happy atmosphere you have created. Whenever we visited we were struck by the rapport that her carers had with her - we felt that they appreciated her personality and brought it out through their kind words and sense of fun. Carers became her friends, and ours too.
Living at a distance from Bradford we had to rely on telephone contact to keep in touch. We are very grateful to everyone for being so patient in dealing with our many calls, and for facilitating our frequent chats with my mother.

Thank you also for the marvellous send-off you gave her when she left to move to a home nearer to where we live. We will be very fortunate if her new home provides the same warm and caring environment that we all enjoyed at Springfield.

A friednly cheerful home the residents are like one happy family. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted cheerfully by the reception team. The home is spotlessly clean. Mum had a lovely room which was made into her own nice and cosy. Meals are plentiful and look lovely varied choice. There is a lovely outside space and gardens. There are various choice of activities going on. I cannot praise the staff enough for all they have done, they are fantastic and are very caring to the residents and family. I would definitely recommend Springfield.
