Manorcroft Nursing Home is a loving, caring, friendly place. The staff are brilliant. My mother is so happy here. We have no worries as she is well looked after and I don't have any concerns what so ever about her well being.

My mother had stayed in Manorcroft Nursing Home from September 2015 - February 2017. I can say that all the staff, the management team et al were exemplary in their work ethics. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my Mom's dietary needs and other needs too. He is an excellent care home manager. The facilities are very good and everyone is friendly, cheerful and can't do enough for your loved ones. Even the ladies that worked temporarily were good. And the cleaners and laundry ladies were super in their attitude to work as all staff.

The whole family cannot fault Manorcroft. The staff are the best asset - they are angels, amazing, lovely people. They made my mum's final months a great comfort to the family, knowing she was loved and well looked after.
The family will miss the visits and seeing and chatting to all the staff who looked after my mum.
They became our family during the time my mum was with them.
God bless them all and they have much love and respect from all of us.
The home itself is great, nice rooms, good food, great entertainment, easily accessible with good car parking, quiet location with easy access to the nearby park.

Thank you all.

My father was in Manorcroft for seven months during that time the care he received was excellent. The management was very professional. They always had time to discuss my father and any difficulties he had and would always follow through any recommendations. The staff and carers were always well mannered and smart. The room always clean. The food which was served to my father was good and varied. In all, I would recommend this nursing home to anyone.

From the first time we visited Manorcroft Care Home, we were impressed by the professional approach and caring nature of all the staff and the support they gave to both my father and the whole family.

The home is clean, the food is excellent and the rooms are of a good size and well maintained.

Whilst my father only stayed a short while at Manorcroft, I would not hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a caring, safer environment.

Agency staff can be very rude not speaking! I don't always get out of bed everyday especially on a weekend. I should get out daily for one to one and a half hours. Food is very good and lots of it. The staff are very friendly and always helpful, my room has become very cluttered with pads/dressings etc.

Reply from Neil Booth, Registered Home Manager at Manor Croft Nursing Home

Many thanks for the review, the home now has the full staff quota in place and agency significantly reduced, we have now removed all clutter and have a daily plan in place to respond to your daily needs, this has been shared with all the staff and you review is very much appreciated.

I feel that there has been staffing issues at Manorcroft Nursing Home in the last 3 - 4 months nursing staff have left and not sure if all have been replaced. The staff structure seems to have changed and I don't think it is for the better. The one thing that has always been outstanding is the staff at Manorcroft Home and I hope this will not change. My mother-in-law's bedroom now looks like a store room?

Reply from Neil Booth, Registerd Home Manager at Manor Croft Nursing Home

Many thanks for your review, there has been a few staff changes but are now fully staffed with very experienced staff throughout the home, the issues with storage have now been resolved and we really appreciate your valued opinion. Very happy with this care home mum seems very comfortable and cared for. The staff are long and they are like an extended family. If she could thank them I know she would. I would recommend it to anyone in our situation, it is not a modern home but that is what it is a cosy home and caring.

Review from Jean B (Friend of Resident) published on 20 October 2016 Submitted via Postal Card

On our very first visit, we were greeted extremely cordially and shown around the home. We were able to look at all the facilities and ask questions. Residents queries were dealt with most sympathetically, gently, and in a very caring and understanding manner. I quickly formed the impression that this was a place which would cater for all my friend's needs in a dignified and respectful manner. My friend died yesterday and the help and understanding which I received was outstanding. I cannot thank the staff enough for their many acts of kindness.
