Cleveland House Care Home

The room is a little dark. The food could have been catered to individual's needs would like to see more options for diabetics and more fruit. Love the day staff, no fault. Night staff need to be more consistent. Would like to see more on the supper trolley.

The staff are very good and interact with the residents within the home. Personally really enjoy the social element at meal times and day-to-day.

My mum is 96 and has been in the care home for three years. Sadly her health has deteriorated but she is well looked after and has her meals liquidised.

My mum has been a resident for 3 months. Everyone has made her very welcome and she is well cared for. She is treated with care and listened to. The home is maintained to a high standard and all staff are professional and helpful.

I stayed for 2 weeks after a hip replacement operation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly but caring and professional. Though I was a resident I did also watch the way the care team interacted with the long-term residents. I could also see that they were a big family and I had joined them for a couple of weeks. The place is clean, tidy and bright. The catering could improve in quality a little-maybe I watch too many food programmes. I will be back when I have my other hip done.

There has been much improvement and activities since the new manager took over. We are always made very welcome, they look after our mum very well.

My first impression of Cleveland House was of a first-class establishment, and my opinion hasn't changed. The staff are ready to help at any time, and nothing seems too much trouble for them. I can only give the highest praise and admiration for the work they do and the friendly, cheerful way in which they carry it out.

The staff at Cleveland House are all lovely. They have taken good care of my mum. They work really hard and always have time to spend with the residents.

Dad arrived at Cleveland House Care Home and received a fabulous welcome. All staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room is cosy with everything we could need.

On first impressions-excellent, friendly, welcoming, clean, clutter-free and well-lit. The staff of all levels are attentive and genuine. Not only is the atmosphere warm and inviting the building is warm and well-heated for added comfort. From one of four daughters of a resident here at Cleveland House, who all have the same observation that matters most. Our mum appears to be happy, clean, safe and has lots of options to keep busy with various activities or chilled with options of a quiet place.

Mum moved here at the end of December 2022 and found the initial days very difficult. The staff were very caring and patient and after tests, we found out it was a water infection. I am very pleased with the care and so is my mum.

Excellent care home, staff lovely, and very helpful and the management is very helpful. My mum has settled really well. My mum's last care home closed down. Mum is always clean and tidy.

My first day in Cleveland House Care Home. I enjoyed my lunch - very tasty, in a pleasant dining room. Then I joined residents in another room where staff were hosting a Halloween party. They had obviously gone to a lot of trouble into trimming up the room with numerous Halloween-related decorations with things provided from out of the home, i.e. crackers and blow-up spooky things. They did a quiz and were very upbeat and jolly, involving residents in activities. Well done to all the staff for all your hard work.

I find this care home extremely frustrating from when I arrive and can't get in. Not many staff look to be on duty and difficult to get feedback. My dad's needs are complex and don't see anyone checking him whilst I'm there. Just a poor service for an extremely expensive care home.

People look to be well looked after. My only concern is feedback, not always people available to discuss.

People are always pleasant. Usually, get a direct answer if you have a query about anything, anything wrong gets put right as soon as possible.

All staff were extremely helpful when I came to visit my friend. The girls at the door even assisted with my test. Very clean and tidy. Thank you for looking after my friend so well.

My mother has been in Cleveland House Care Home for nearly three years and has consistently received care of the highest standard. All the staff are very professional, extremely pleasant and very efficient in carrying out their duties.
