It's my sister's birthday and I've had a lovely time visiting her. The staff were very sweet and made a fuss over my sister, bringing her a cake and singing happy birthday.

My Grandad has just been admitted into the care home a few months ago. What a difference it has made to his well-being. He’s putting on weight, engaging in activities and smiling again. He loves his room overlooking the well kept gardens, watching the wildlife. The Staff are good and look after my Nan when she visits too. I’m so thankful.

I am very pleased overall with the care of my dad. I can see all of the staff are very caring and considerate and it's always a pleasure to chat to them. I realise my dad can be a bit difficult at times with personal care but I can see that he is dealt with, with dignity. When I phone, nothing is too much trouble. I look forward to the day I can pop in at any time but I appreciate that rules etc. are being followed properly. Dad always seems clean and in clean clothes.

I cannot fault the care given to Mum at Colton Lodges Care Home. She had an unsettled start when first admitted but staff spent time reassuring her and making her feel like she was at home. She always looks well kept on all our visits. Her room is clean, tidy and has a homely feel. Admin and management are so caring, always happy to help in every way,

I'm so glad Mum is at Colton Lodges.

My aunty is looked after very well. The care she received is of the highest standard. They make her as one of the family. The food is excellent.

My aunty takes part in most of the activities, if she needs anything then the carers try to help.

I come to see my sister every week. She is always playing bingo with the ladies in the lounge. She is always in her wheelchair, driving up and down. She is always clean and today as she is a very glammed up lady. I'm happy she is here.
