Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are constantly reviewing staffing in the home to ensure staff numbers are in line with resident dependencies. Rooms are redecorated as required and food service is a big part of our day. We are looking at changing our menus and will be meeting with residents to discuss this.

We are currently reviewing our home’s decoration requirements as the comfort of our residents is always a priority. We are sorry that the food is not always been as warm as it should be, this will be addressed with the home’s catering team. Thank you for your kind comments on our staff team who work hard to deliver a high standard of care. Please be reassured that our staffing levels are flexed according to resident needs which are regularly assessed to ensure staffing numbers are accurate.

As a Registered Nurse, Danielle has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Danielle chose to become Home Manager at Colton Lodges as she closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Danielle remarked:
“Making a difference to people’s lives, it’s a pleasure to see our Resident’s living happy and fulfilled lives.”
Outside of work, Danielle is a devoted wife and mother to two boys who enjoys travelling to America, she hopes to visit all 52 states in her lifetime. In her spare time, she is a big supporter of football, rugby, American football and ice hockey.
