Excellent care provided. Particularly impressed with the Deputy Manager. Her care of my Mother in Law has been outstanding and has had a very positive impact on her well-being. My Mother in Law is treated with respect and time is spent making sure her wishes are understood and fulfilled. Thank you.

My husband could not be in a better place than Warde Aldam. The staff is truly magnificent, happy, smiling, not a grumpy face among them. Even though he refuses to sit and eat, they make sure he has plenty of finger food whilst he walks up and down. The care here is personalised to each resident and gives me and family reassurance he is receiving the best possible. Thank you to all staff and be assured you are all truly admired for your patience, your care, your skill, and your welcoming approach.

Prior to Covid-19 Warde Aldam provided excellent care for my father who suffered from Alzheimer's. They went out of their way to cope with his difficult behaviour and aggressive outbursts.

Since Covid-19 they have kept me informed about his health.

From moving into Warde Aldam my mother-in-law has been cared for with love and respect. The home is always very welcoming to family and friends. Whilst the home has been closed through the Coronavirus we have been contacted with updates and reassurances throughout. In this period, mum-in-laws 80th birthday was celebrated without her family but the staff made a wonderful party and sent us lots of pictures.

Thank you for this lovely review. It is very hard during these difficult times but we are trying very hard to keep families as involved as we can until our doors are open again. I am very pleased that you liked the photos.

Being the wife of a resident who resided there for nearly three years, I feel that I must say what a wonderful, loving and caring home Warde Aldam is, staff worked above and beyond their duty, always helpful and obliging. We, as a family, felt content in the knowledge my husband was happy there. Always his second family. Keep up the good work.

My Dad lived at Warde Aldam for 3 years. He recently died but I cannot praise the staff enough, every member of staff who came in contact with dad was fantastic. The carer, too many to mention, and especially two who went above and beyond for my Dad and me in Dad’s final week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The members of staff are very friendly, hard-working from the management to the domestic workers.
I can honestly say they made Dad’s last 3 years happier and he always had a smile for everyone apart from when it was shower time lol.

Highly recommend Walde Aldam if you want your loved one to be looked after and not just left to sit and stare.

My dad entered Warde Aldam early this year after having been in a couple of places the year before, and the change in him was immediate. He was happy, and he was treated with the utmost care and love by the staff there. Thanks very much for making my dads life much better for the last part of his life.

Have just got round to adding this for the care my father received up to his death last year. He had very complex needs having advanced dementia and Parkinson's. The care he received was excellent, the patience and compassion shown by all the team in the dementia unit was greatly appreciated by our family. They always did their utmost to meet his needs, whether this was accommodating his pickiness with food or pushing for additional care funding needs as he deteriorated. As his needs accelerated he moved here from a very plush home owned by one of the chains, where he was self-funded, to being state-supported. Due to the complexity of his needs, there was no comparison, the first home felt like a business with no real desire to accommodate individuals needs, whereas Warde Aldam it was always evident the care was the priority and residents were all individuals.

The home was clearly well run, had some great staff who dealt amazingly with very challenging residents.

My husband recently spent 5 days respite in Warde Aldam Nursing Home. During the short stay, he was treated by all staff with such respect. His care was second to none and being his first visit, he settled in well. I would have no hesitation in returning when necessary. The dedication and love the staff have shown him confirmed my trust in their care.

Thank you for this review. This was only a very short experience but I am heartened to read that it was a very positive one, we spoke briefly about the areas we could improve upon and I would hope that on your next visit we get 5 across every area. I will, of course, share these comments with my team.

We brought my great auntie in in October 2019. She passed away 15th November 2019. She was only in there for fifteen days. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make her happy and pain-free. My auntie's personal care was excellent, she had first-class treatment and we are grateful to the staff and management for their support and kindness.

From the moment I contacted Warde Aldam Nursing Home, I was given sympathetic and professional advice. During my aunt's stay, she was cared for to a very high standard. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. I feel that because of the standard of care it helped my aunt pass away pain-free and peacefully. Thank you Warde Aldam.

For the last sixteen months, my father has been a resident at Warde Aldam, until his recent passing in November 2019. Both my wife and I would like to thank everyone at Warde Aldam for the care and affection they gave to him during his stay there. It could not have been bettered. In the words of Tina Turner, you're all 'Simply the Best'. Thank you.

Warde Aldam Nursing Home has been excellent in all areas, caring for my dad while he was there. My dad spent the final 9 weeks of his life here. Very confused and often distressed and unable to sleep. The staff in Lower Cedar were truly wonderful with him and the other residents. Caring, compassionate, loving and warm. The care they gave my dad was truly outstanding. The warmth and love radiate through the home. Thank you. Thank you. We will always be grateful for the care you have him and how well you supported us at the end of his life. You are superb at what you do.

I have been in Warde Aldam Nursing Home for approximately 6 months and the service gets better and better every week. They are very attentive to patients needs and give 100% of their valuable time to get things right.
This week they hired a special coach to take a number of patients and carers including a nurse for a trip to Cleethorpes on the Lincolnshire coast. What a great day we had and everyone came back with a smile on their face.

It would be nice if we could get the local community more involved in the activities. If you have any ideas of how you can help please contact the manager who I am sure will listen to your suggestions.
