My mother has settled in really well and both the staff and management team have been very welcoming. I am sure she will be really happy here moving forward.
I was looked after very well with people who know what they were doing and gave me my confidence to do what I did before.
The home was kept spotless by the cleaners and things removed are changed immediately when necessary.
I was hugely disappointed by the absence of nursing care to my father in his last few days. Whilst it was explained that he was not in the home as a nursing patient, I thought the lack of nursing attention to both my father and me was cruel and this has severely clouded my impression of the home.
My experiences with this care home are so good. The staff, in particular, have always been very caring almost treating my mother as a family member. They seem to have had a special relationship with her and this made her appreciate the home and be very happy there. Since my mother died they have been more than helpful with the arrangements. Thank you.
My friend is settled and comfortable and seems to enjoy being here.
I feel confident that my friend is well cared for and is treated with respect.
Thank you to all the staff.
Since my mum was transferred to the Grosvenor House on 27th December, we have received great support. She has comfortable surroundings and most importantly, honest and open communication after a really stressful 9 weeks with mum being in hospital. The Grosvenor House staff and management have eased some of the pressure and worry we have had by accepting mum into the home willingly and with a smile. We really appreciate the support they have given.
I find Grosvenor House Care Home warm and welcoming. The staff communicate well and are very helpful.
The house has a nice atmosphere and the carers are very nice and helpful in many ways. They made me feel stronger and now I am a widow I can manage better. Everything about this home is first class you really are treated like a lady
The staff always made you feel welcome and always solved any issues we or mum had quickly.
Mum has needed nursing care for over a year now and we are so glad that we chose Grosvenor House. The staff could not be more kind and caring; nothing is too much trouble for them. Importantly, for us, the atmosphere is warm and friendly - and Grosvenor House is small enough for all residents to be known as individuals. Management of the home is excellent, and the manager is always available to offer support and advice when we need it. The home is spotless, and Mum is always clean and well dressed. Dad is able to visit daily and is made very welcome. Food is excellent - varied and beautifully presented; Mum and Dad do look forward to their afternoon tea and cake. The care that Mum receives at Grosvenor House has made a huge difference to her quality of life and it is comforting for both Dad and I to know that she is so well cared for.
The management team were excellent at communicating with both my father and myself.
The staff were fantastic and spent many hours talking to my father who enjoyed their company.
My first impression of the home was welcoming. Clean and friendly. My mum was very poorly when she arrived and therefore only had a short stay 12 days before she passed away. During that time my family and I could not fault the staff. They were caring, thoughtful, kind and considerate and remained professional throughout our extremely difficult time, and for that, we thank you so very much.
The staff are like one big family, very friendly and helpful. My mother was in the home less than 2 weeks as she sadly passed away, but the staff were very caring and supportive of both my mother and my sister and myself. I would like to thank them all for their kindness and support. Mum didn't take part in any activities but from what I saw they were good.
I have been visiting my friend over the past 4 years and have got to know the staff and other residents quite well. Visitors are always made to feel welcome and the staff are always polite and friendly. The care given to residents seems good. Food and facilities are excellent. I have now become a volunteer, offering help where and when required.
Mum was in this wonderful care home for 2 years. The staff were so kind and lovely to her, always having a kind word. I can't praise or thank them enough.
This home is like a home from home.
Friendly staff, lovely surroundings.
Warm and clean.
I have already recommended this care home to a number of people.
I visit my mother once a month as it is a 500-mile round trip journey. My sister visits almost daily. My mother is 101 years and she can still feed herself, dress herself and can walk with the help of a wheeled walking aid. She seems to be looked after as well as she could be and the staff are always cheerful. We have nothing negative to say about her particular care. However, it can be sometimes distressing to hear other residents who may be wheelchair bound, cry out for assistance which sometimes appears unnoticed though this may be down to their own disposition.
The health, well-being, safety and happiness of residents are our top...
I am very pleased with the care and respect (and love) that is shown to my mother. I do not have any problems with this home whatsoever.
