I am very happy and content with the excellent care that my wife receives on a daily basis. The staff are well trained, kind, and considerate at all times. The facilities are first class and always immaculate, and her bedroom is always kept tidy and very clean by the staff. The food always looks tasty,
nutritious and varied. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend the home for any family members.

My family and I feel Mum is well cared for in a very loving environment. All the staff feel like extended family, and we all have Mum's best interests at heart. Always lots of activities and treats, and our visits are in the garden room, which is a mixed communal area, which is very nice, also gives
us a chance to meet the other residents that Mum "lives" with.

St Catherine's has been the best thing to happen for Dad for a long time. He is happy and well cared for, and we are very glad that he is able to live here. The residential areas are lovely and have a very calming effect on residents and visitors alike. The staff are extremely caring and treat the residents

The staff are very good and have known my husband for a long time. They go the extra mile to understand him with his speech problems. The dynamics of the home keep changing when new residents arrive, this can be disruptive at times. Hopefully, in summer, the residents can be taken outside more and go
on trips.

St Catherine’s does have at least two minibus trips scheduled per month as per Wellburns minibus schedule and also sometimes has access to a vehicle for smaller or individual trips out. All our residents also have access to St Catherine’s outdoor sensory garden. Understandably, with the nature of care and as new residents are admitted to our services, we acknowledge some of these new residents may take longer to become settled than others. Generally, our residents come into our homes with varying levels of needs, so we try to accommodate them as best we can.

We are very pleased with the care my grandmother has received. The food, facilities and rooms are of high quality, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We arranged to find a care home that could care for my grandmother when her dementia advanced. Thankfully, St Catherine's does not turn anyone

I would recommend St Catherine's to everybody. It's a fantastic place, and the care given to my husband has been first class. Everybody is so kind and caring, that is so lovely to see. The staff at St Catherine's have done an amazing job this year. They have ensured the residents have continued to feel safe and loved when family have not been able to visit. Lee Dale

Job Title: Senior Manager - Dementia Services Joined: 2021

Lee has worked in the health and social care sector since 2004. Within this time, he has covered many roles working his way up from Care Assistant and previously a Peripatetic and Turnaround Manager before becoming Home Manager at St George’s, Glenholme House and Eighton Lodge. Lee currently is the Senior Manager at our Specialist dementia homes, St Catherine’s and The Manor at St Catherine’s.


Having worked in care management for 10 years, managing his first home at the age of 24, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in residential, dementia and nursing care.


Qualifications include:
- NVQ Levels 2, 3 & 5
- Level 3 Administration of Medication
- Moving & Handling Train the Trainer
- Basic Life Support Train the Trainer

Lindsey

Lindsey Mckee

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2008

Lindsey's career with Wellburn started in 2008 at St Catherine's as a part-time administrator before she gradually began working shifts as a care assistant alongside her role as an administrator. Lindsey then became a full-time administrator before being promoted to Senior Support Worker at St Catherine's in 2023. In 2024, Lindsey was recently promoted to Deputy Manager of St Catherine's and The Manor at St Catherine's.


Qualifications include:
