The staff go above and beyond what is expected to look after the residents. Very compassionate and professional but with a personal touch. I would highly recommend Rosedale to anyone considering residential care.

I and my family cannot praise Rosedale care home enough. When my husband arrived there, he was already seriously ill. The care that he was given from the outset was second to none. He was treated with respect and dignity from the start. Even though he was so ill, the nursing staff were on hand for any eventuality, and the carers who looked after his daily needs could not have done any more. I was visiting him two days before he died, and during that visit, the young lady who had been seeing to his every need came to take him to his bed, and the smile that he gave her told me everything. He was happy to let her look after him, and that meant so much to me seeing it. It is one of the things among many that I will never forget about Rosedale whenever I think of my husbands passing.

Staff have coped well during the terrible pressure of Covid-19. Being unable to visit frequently has meant stress for me and for my husband. Obviously this was unavoidable and I value my 1/2 hour visits.

My father has been at Rosedale for about two and a half years. Throughout that time, the staff in the lodge have been amazing. They made my father feel as though it was his home. Always caring with dignity and respect. I would always recommend this home.

The care mum receives on a day to day basis is outstanding. Whenever you go to visit or telephone you are always made welcome. It's just like being at home among friends and nothing is too much trouble.

We don't need to worry about mum as we know she is in extremely safe hands. Would recommend Rosedale to everyone.

Mum is 90% of the time very happy with all the care and attention she receives at Rosedale Nursing Home as are her 3 daughters.

Only fault is that there is not enough activities, and more so, persons to sit and chat with mum. I appreciate this is nursing care and some clients do have problems engaging in normal conversation but mum, fortunately, has "all her buttons on" and misses interaction with other people, apart from 1 or 2 people.

My mother entered the home as she needed SMI nursing care. She entered from a care home where she had spent 2 years. Mother needed end of life care.
I found the staff to be supportive of ourselves as a family, dealing with the impending loss of our mother.
My mother was treated with dignity and compassion. We cannot fault the care provided. Also, the support following her death.

I would highly recommend the home.

The staff nursing care is second to none! From cleaners to the handyman excellent. My daughter and I visited two in this area. The lovely kitchen assistant greeted us. We cane one Sunday on spec with our eyes and noses. Her smile welcomed us. Never forget that day. The nurse on duty warm and welcoming. My daughter and I hugged her with thanks.

This care home is first class, staff are what makes it so lovely and caring. Rooms could do with a deep clean, but overall first class. Food good overall and lots of choice. Will use this home again when needed for rest bite. My father loved all the staff and felt like home from home. Many thanks to you all.

My mother has recently suffered some falls, the staff at Rosedale Nursing Home have been really helpful in keeping me informed of her condition and the care provided. They keep in regular contact by telephone with updates and its very reassuring to know that the staff care for the residents in this way, nothing is too much trouble for them and they help give me some peace of mind as I live 50 miles away. Thank you to all the staff at Rosedale Nursing Home.

My dad is so happy here, the staff (especially the lady who I’ll be sad to see go on maternity leave) are so caring for each and every resident, they treat each patient with the same patience and care that is overwhelming sometimes, I certainly couldn’t do what they do Day in day out minute after minute! Dementia patients must be hard work but they answer there questions as if it’s the first time they’ve asked,
Always smiling,

The place is clean tidy and has a lovely happy atmosphere

We chose this care home because all the staff were so kind and helpful when we visited. That has been more than borne out during Mum's stay here. I live overseas and make regular contact by phone; it is so reassuring that the response from staff is always helpful and sensitive. I see the same high standard of care when I visit.
