The team are always smiling and they interact with residents in a warm, friendly and loving manner. They are genuinely interested in finding out about their past experiences, their likes and dislikes, and so on.

It’s important to the home to ensure their residents are empowered and given as many choices as possible. They have a very full activities programme which includes a bridge club, art classes, animal therapy, and much more. Residents are encouraged to socialise in the true sense of the word.

Osborne Road is a trendy area nearby, with nice shops, bars and cafes, which residents often walk up to, to have a cup of tea, a cream cake and a natter. The community around Osborne Road know the residents and interact well with them.

Wordsworth House is very much part of the local community and they have strong links with schools and church groups. Some local businesses go to the home so that residents who aren’t able to leave the home can do some shopping.
