My in laws moved into Rodesdale last year. Unfortunatley my mother-in-law passed in january. The staff have been wonderful with my father-in-law, making sure he is ok and his needs are met. I visit him 4-5 times per week the staff are great, always stop for a chat, friendly and helpful. A big thanks to them all too many to name individually.

Both my parents moved into Rodesdale a year ago after a sudden decline in my mother's health. It was definitely not an easy situation all round. Jemma (the manager) and the entire team went above and beyond to support my parents through this transition. My Mum passed away in January and the level of care, compassion & genuine concern for My Dad has been outstanding. I'm always contacted immediately about any issues and there's always someone to answer questions/concerns. My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Rodesdale.

My wife has dementia and is a resident in this care home. I am very impressed with the care and support she receives. The reception area is warm, inviting, and friendly. The staff are caring, compassionate and treat residents with dignity and patience. Reassuring to know my wife has this support. There is a range of activities available. Plus additional services including a hairdresser, chiropodist, and organised outings. All contribute to resident's quality of life. I am grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown. I would happily recommend this care home.

After almost 5 months of being at Redesdale my wife, who was declining fairly rapidly, entered the final days of her life at Redesdale. The change from the normal good support to end-of-life care following assessment by professional nursing/medical staff was swift and efficient, conducted with understanding and kindness to my wife and also to me as I frequently visited. There is no comparison in how she ended her life in the wonderful care and familiar surroundings at Redesdale compared to a hospital, and I am so pleased she did not have to move out.

I have my parents in this care home. I can not speak highly enough of any member of staff. The care my parents are receiving is amazing. I am blown away by it, if its house keeping or management they "just care" my dad is currently on end of care life, not only do they make sure he is comfortable, they make sure I am looked after. I am humbled to be here and I wish I could be as caring as they are, amazing people with amazing souls - thank you!

Redesdale Court is a wonderful care, supporting many elderly individuals. The level of care us excellent, providing individuals a high level of personal care. I feel over the last year management and the level of activities have increased/improved - not that poor, but so many extras now available. Rooms are well kept, clean and vert spacious, keeping the rooms clean, can be a big task, given needs of individuals. There is always options for meals, and specifics of catered for. Food is well presented, and there are special events often held to celebrate specific events. Absolutely no concerns regarding safety of individuals. Given the nature of tasks, there can be a turnover of staff but staff are good.

My mum moved in on 27.11.25 she seems to have settled really well. The home, mum's room is extremely clean, warm beautifully furnished and decorated. The staff are really caring and lovely nothing is a problem. This has been the most difficult + traumatic decision i have ever had to make, but due to mom's deteriorating dementia mum was no longer safe at home, everyone at Redesdale Court have made the whole situation easier knowing mum is safe + well cared for. Regards Val

Looks are deceiving - this place has the look of a swish hotel - but it's the care that is important.

The care staff are overworked, and insufficient in number. The manager is always "busy".

There are NO activities, if you are lucky there might be a singer - but only for downstairs. My mother was on Priory - zero activities, despite what they promise and she was bored to tears. If your aged relative likes word search puzzles, using crayons, great! they'll love it ! Mine was registered blind with advanced alzeimers. What she wanted was a sing-a-long, but that only happened twice in 7 months. The activities co-ordinator kept herself busy with things like a 'memorial garden' - which of the residents would benefit from this ? (the dead ones are gone, those alive didn't know the dead ones.....).

I have been trying to write this review for 9 months to no avail, due to the 'rules'. Please read between the lines and don't get involved with this care home. Contact the CQC direct

Please accept, again, our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. The memorial garden at Redesdale Court was established with thoughtful input from families and colleagues. It is intended as a space of quiet reflection and remembrance and continues to be appreciated by those who visit in...

My mum moved into Redesdale Court around 7 months ago and I wish we had one it sooner. She settled in straight away thanks to the wonderful staff, who have provided exceptional kindness, support and reassurance. My mum has Alzheimers and often feels confused but since living here she feels safe and comforted. Her care needs are met brilliantly - we've had no problems or issues, she is treated with dignity and respect and overall the care she receives provides me with so much peace of mind.

My mom's in Priory and seems settled and happy. One of the staff takes her into the garden and she loves that. She's quite active and would enjoy more entertainment on an afternoon, as this would keep her busy. The staff are all very lovely and accommodating.

This has been my mother's home for many years. Currently, the organisation and care is as good as it has been even during hard times. The majority of the staff are diligent and hard working, with my mother's care a priority. Only slight criticism being the food choices are not ideal for her disabilities. Overall. The home is safe and I feel my mother is well cared for.

I could not have wished for a better care home for my Mum when it became impossible for her to continue living independently.
The staff are lovely and do their utmost to make the residents feel happy and 'at home'.
The residents are encouraged to participate in the wide variety of activities offered.

I am happy knowing my Mum is safe and well cared for.
