After living by himself for a number of years, my father asked to move into care. Since moving into Barchester Harton Grange Care Home, his overall well-being has improved tremendously. He feels sage and secure and has started to interact with others. The care home is spotless, well-lit and lovely and
warm. The staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and they are excellent with the residents. It is a huge relief to know he is safe, happy and contented.

My father-in-law has only been a resident here for a short time but has settled in really well. From our first visit to look around, we have been impressed by the lovely staff who fin nothing too much trouble. The facilities, activities are excellent. We feel we have made the right choice for our relative.

Barchester Harton Grange Care Home is a fabulous care home. The staff are all amazing and are wonderful carers. They are not only "carers", they actually "care". I would not hesitate in recommending this home to friends.

My mam has been a resident at your wonderful home since 2017 and I could not be happier. All the staff are amazing and welcoming with a smile for both residents and visitors. The food is excellent, especially Friday fish and chips. The areas and rooms are always clean and tidy with well-equipped furniture.
I visited many homes prior to yours and Barchester Harton Grange Care Home was the outstanding choice, this was backed up recently by my mam's social worker. Well done.

Harton Grange staff are caring and have a lot of dignity and empathy for patients. The manager is always hands on and there if you need advice. I would definitely recommend this home to families looking for care and compassion for their mother/father.

I cannot praise the staff enough for the care given to my mother. From the catering staff, laundry team, carers, entertainment team and senior managers, my mother is treated with immense respect, dignity and mostly love. She has made new friends and has a new outlook on life, which at 93 years old is
so lovely to see. I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing facility and the people who work there. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the care and effort made to offer entertainment and trips out for suitable residents that fit their particular needs. If I had to make a slightly negative thought, it would be the amount of paperwork the girls have to do, which obviously takes them away from the residents.

Could use many words and all extremely complimentary - the care given to my mum has been way beyond expectation. From management to entertainment, to chefs and all the angel carers. Fantastic and a credit to Barchester - Such a comfort to know Mum is in a home-from-home, only better. I notice the carers
have a lot of paperwork, taking them away from residents - only negative.

Couldn't feel more happy leaving Mum here. Wonderful management and staff. Welcoming and easy atmosphere. Mam says who could want better with all the cuddles she gets. I feel at ease that she is being looked after so well.

Was very disappointed that not one member of staff was there to represent the care home at my relative's funeral despite the fact that the crematorium was literally around the corner, I thought she was a much-loved resident of the home having been there many years. The home, when I visited, was lovely
and the staff very caring so you can understand I found this very upsetting!

My mum who is 89, absolutely loves Harton Grange. Her ensuite room is lovely and always clean. The staff are always smiling and friendly and Mum loves the meals and activities. It's always a joy to see Mum's happy face. I would recommend Harton Grange to anyone in need of such a facility. There is excellent
security with entry and each ward section is only accessible via a staff member's card.

One can only say that the staff at Harton Grange Care Home in my view are the most considerate and caring people it has been my experience to encounter. Also, I must comment on the cleanliness of the home as being exceptional and a credit to the staff who are responsible.

Hi, my name is Judith, and I am General Manager here at Harton Grange.


I have worked in the care industry since 2000. I have an NVQ Level 4 in Leadership & Management and a Level 3 in End of Life Care. I am kind and compassionate and I focus on providing a safe, warm and caring environment for everyone I support.


I have extensive experience in building positive relationships and embedding the key principles of care in those I work alongside.
