Overall I am very satisfied with the care my husband is receiving. The carers do their very best in sometimes challenging situations.

The staff throughout the home are very welcoming and offer help where they can.

My Mother-in-law needed to visit hospital urgently, from the care home, and we were unable to travel with her for personal reasons. So a carer from the Pavillion travelled with her and waited with her. Shortly after she had gone to the hospital I was able to make my way to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital I noticed the carer was very supportive and caring towards my Mother-in-law all the time she was with her, this reassured me that my Mother-in-law is getting the best care possible.

Our Mum had a fall and was quickly referred to hospital by the home. The day we were in hospital the care home rang us and we discussed the risks of falling as the room we had chosen was small and didn't have a lot of space around the bed. The team wouldn't have been more helpful, a room had very recently become available and they suggested Mam could move into here, as it was more spacious and would have easier access for the carers. the team was brilliant, they had the room cleaned and refreshed (it had been cleaned previously and moved all of her belongings into the room ready for her return from hospital later that day. It was such a weighty of our minds and the whole team went above and beyond to help out.

My mother was recently moved to Pavillion Nursing Home after a series of traumatic and distressing events at her previous care facility. From the initial unannounced visit to see if Pavillion could meet my mother's needs, we were exceptionally impressed with the level of service offered. The Pavillion is well-managed with well-qualified, compassionate staff who are now providing my mother with the holistic care she deserves. We honestly can't thank or praise the staff at Pavillion enough for their expertise in looking after Mum. Knowing she is safe and receiving first-class care gives me confidence we made the right decision moving her to Pavillion.

I stayed a couple of nights respite and found it comfortable and all my needs were being met. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It was a relaxed and easy visit. The only negative would be the lack of internet and phone signal, could not speak to family or use the internet at all which is a shame in this day and age. However a really comfortable stay and will be back for another stay. Thanks again to all the staff.

I am just writing to post a fabulous review for the staff and facilities of the Pavillion Care Home. I was lucky enough to get a bed for my mam on the 1st of September last year, knowing that she would eventually need nursing and palliative care. My mam unfortunately passed away on Sunday after a long battle with physical, ill health and dementia. Her care at the Pavilion has been second to none. The friendliness, humanity, care and compassion from all the staff has been wonderful and much appreciated. I cannot rate the Pavillion high enough and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing a clean, friendly and welcoming home. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my mam! I cannot thank you enough!

The team at Pavillion provided excellent respite care for my 'active but frail' 100-year-old mother.
As this was our first use of such services we all had anxieties, but we need not have worried. Everything worked as planned, and Mum enjoyed her weeks holiday. She returned to our care in an excellent state (mentally and physically) and had thoroughly enjoyed her stay - praising the friendliness of the staff. Thanks to everyone - will certainly use again.

As this was respite the room was obviously not used permanently. Could have done with a lick of paint in bathroom.

My dad came to the Pavillion in June from hospital. He has settled in a lot better than I had hoped and this is due to the wonderful way my dad has been treated, which is with the utmost respect and dignity, together with the absolutely outstanding quality of care he has been given. He is now eating regularly, this is due to the exceptional quality of the food which is available to him. He is now enjoying his drinks plus his snacks. All the staff and I mean all the staff are amazing and dedicated to their roles, they are friendly and welcoming. They make you feel that nothing is too much trouble. I feel that they genuinely want the best for my dad, which warms my heart. I was initially concerned about my dad going into a nursing home because I felt that I had let him down as I was unable to provide him with the 24-hour care he deserved, but I can see that he is content, happy and getting stronger. His smiles have returned, as has his humour, which I thought I had lost forever. This is all due to him being in the best nursing home I could ever have imagined. Thank you.

I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my mother gets, the nursing staff and carers are attentive to my mother's requirements. The home is friendly and supportive of my mother and the family. Staff are approachable and as a family, it is a great relief to know that my mother is happy and well looked after.

The staff are angels and certainly deserve more recognition.

Mam has been in the Pavillion since December 21st 2023. At first, she was unsure because she was very independent and for the first week she kept packing her clothes up every day. She's settled in now and the staff are lovely and she's put on weight.

Managers and all staff have been unfailingly professional and caring. They have given priority to my wife's dignity at all times. My wife is very settled in her environment at Pavillion and no longer has the compulsion to search for her (long deceased) parents, which led to serious accidents when she was at home. I would unreservedly recommend Pavillion to others.
