My mam has only been in the home for five days. We have only seen it from outside and the one visiting room. My mom seemed settled and happy, she was not wearing her prosthetic breast when visited and staff were unaware. A carer was with my mom and there was excellent chemistry and you can see her care and patience (I know we cannot put names, but she was brilliant!). The place looks very run down and could do with a bit of money spent on it to brighten it up.

All the staff have been friendly and helpful throughout the process of choosing a care home and getting my parents settled in. It is a big change for my parents but they seem to be settling in very well due to the care of all the staff. They are particularly impressed with the standard of the food!

Due to Covid not being into the unit my mam is on. When the first visit at the beginning of April, we had a good feel about the home, met the manager first, she was lovely and so have all the staff since met. Hopefully, the home will soon be fully open to family and friends then will be able to fill the options in that they deserve.

Very friendly staff, very co-operative and always pleasant to talk to. Rooms are always spotless. I know I can call anytime and get an update on my father which puts my mind at ease, knowing he's getting the best care he needs. Very thankful for the care and being there for us.

All the staff, nurses and carers have been very helpful and informative. They have assisted with all our needs in this stressful time. My father seems to be very well looked after whilst in the home. His room and accommodation is excellent. Everyone deserves a big thank you during this very trying time with Covid.

My mum was a resident for nearly 8 years and thought of it as her home, she was wheelchair-bound but could manage to get around the home quite easily. She was treated with dignity and respect from all the staff. Towards the end of her life (21st July 20) the care, attention, support and kindness she was given was second to none. My brother and I cannot thank the staff enough for what they do, true dedication.

In unforeseen circumstances, due to covid-19, my father appears to be receiving excellent care from both care staff and nurses. Although the home has been on lockdown for several weeks, and I have only been able to speak to Dad on the phone, he sounds very well. I am also delighted that I have been informed that my dad has not contracted the virus, and the home is also covid free. Well done to you all!

Very happy with the way my mother has been cared for. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Although my mother can't speak to you, I can see she is very content in the home and I am happy with her overall care. The only negative would be I feel family members should be given a code to let themselves in and out as there has been several times we have had to wait for this.

The Pavillion is very well run and it has a pleasant, clean, tidy and welcoming environment. The staff are superb - they are so hard-working, helpful, caring, cheerful and efficient and they have their resident's comfort, security and needs as their main priority. On behalf of my two brothers and myself we cannot praise and thank the staff enough for all the help, care and dedication they have given to our mother (and indeed all the residents) in the last year since she moved in last year (June 2019). This includes all the trials and tribulations of the past three months Covid-19 lock-down, which to date has been so professionally and successfully handled. Mam is healthy, happy and well in her residential home. There are a wide range of activities on offer to occupy the residents. I am well impressed and I totally endorse and recommend The Pavillion Residential and Nursing Home.

My mam has had to go into the Pavillion temporarily after having a stroke, and whilst we have an extension built on the house for her, the home came on recommendation from a friend. Whilst the home is currently on lockdown due to Covid-19, the staff and the care Mam has received so far has been excellent. They are helping her every day with the exercises, and I have seen great improvement in her. The staff always have her best wishes at heart and make sure she is in the best of her health whilst in their care.
