Ayresome Court Nursing Home

My brother and I attended Ayresome Court unannounced as we were looking for a carehome for our mother. We were met by such lovely staff. We were shown around with such enthusiasm. The whole place had a calm and welcoming atmosphere and it was spotless (and no smells) My brother and I knew that this was the one... We brought our mother from a nursing facility. Initially she was not at all happy, she wouldn't engage in any activities, however with the kindness and dedication of all the staff, my mother loves it there, participating in all activities, it's a joy to behold. The staff there are truly worth their weight in gold...

He died very peacefully in his own room at Ayresome. It was a gentle and painless passing with a member of Ayresome night staff by his bedside to hold his hand. He was treated with respect and dignity both in his last moments and throughout his stay.

Sadly, my mother's condition deteriorated as a result of her injury, but she had the best possible care and attention at Ayresome in my opinion for the last two weeks of her life. Thank you.

Ayresome Court have been amazing in supporting my mother on her discharge from hospital. I cannot thank them enough.

My mother has been a resident in Ayresome Court for over a year now. The care has been excellent. What makes it so special is the staff, from the manager, receptionist, catering staff, carers, nurses, cleaning staff and handyman. Everyone is caring, kind, patient and professional. They do a great job with a smile and cheerfulness. They work so hard and I would like to give them a big thank you. My mother is cared for so well, treated with dignity, kept clean and nursed if unwell. I am delighted with the care my mother receives.

The home is very welcoming, my grandma is looked after well and feels safe. She is very happy at Ayresome Court. Thank you.

I have recently visited a family friend at Ayresome Court and found the staff very friendly.

My father had a short end-of-life stay. The staff were very caring and attentive and always professional. Couldn't thank you enough.

Initially this was intended to be respite care but my wife deteriorated beyond my care capacity and remained a resident. The home has always been very accommodating and helpful, one minor niggle was dealt with promptly and could not be faulted.

My stepfather has been in Ayresome Court Nursing Home for end-of-life care. He passed away at the beginning of December, he was treated with dignity and respect, the staff did not just do their job, they genuinely cared and took it personally as if it was their family. Thank you.

From the very moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. We were put at ease and told that my Mother-in-law would be well looked after. After 2 weeks we have been assured that she will be. A very nice and caring staff and a lovely place.

His earlier visit for respite was also very good.

Dad came here from hospital after being in there for three weeks for end-of-life care. All of the staff from the cleaners, care workers etc. have been nothing short of amazing. They are treating Dad with a great deal of care and respect. I would specifically like to point out one of your care workers. I say a huge thank you to her for the care that she gives.

My husband has settled into the home, he finds the staff very caring and professional. The only concern was yesterday morning 26th Jan when he had to wait far too long for his pain relief. Other than that we are very happy with his care and excellent staff.

My uncle is in the final few days of his life and I really don't think he could have received any better care, and it's been very much appreciated!
