Ayresome Court provided a safe environment for Mam to recover when she was unable to take care of herself.
Thank you for your lovely review, your kind words will be passed to our team.
I am extremely happy with the way my mother has been treated with loving care and I'm much happier in myself since she has been in Ayresome Court Nursing Home. I'm satisfied with all aspects in which her care has been dealt with by all the staff and could not be any happier.
Thank you for your lovely review - we are very glad to hear you are happy. Your positive feedback will be passed on to our Ayresome Court team.
We are really happy with the care and attention our mam has received during her stay at Ayresome Court. She has responded brilliantly both physically and mentally and it is so lovely to see her smiling again. I cannot praise the staff enough who are always quick to respond, cheerful and caring going above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback about our team - your kind words will be passed on to everyone at Ayresome Court.
Mam is cared for with compassion and dignity, with staff going beyond what would normally be expected, eg dressing, her hair and putting on make-up for her. We are delighted with the level of care the staff show her.
Thank you for your lovely review; your fantastic feedback will be passed on to the team.
I have stated excellent for food; although my mother is fed via a PEG, the care and friendliness given to my mum while she has been fed is excellent.
Thank you for your lovely review. Your fantastic feedback will be passed on to the team.
I have worked in about 30 nursing/elderly people's homes as an electrician. I can honestly say Ayresome Court is up there at the top. 10/10.
Thank you for your wonderful review and feedback, your comments will be passed on to the team.
We chose Ayresome Court for some respite care for my mother while I have some medical treatment, as it is close to her normal home. The staff have been lovely with her, but I felt the initial welcome and set-up for her could have been more efficient and welcoming. It would have been helpful if someone had sat down with us and explained how everything worked, meal times, activities etc rather we have been required to find our own way a bit. The food is adequate (can be cold when served in her room) but additional hot drinks are haphazard. No doubt this is due to the busyness of the staff, but more encouragement for Mum to join in activities, go down for meals etc to help her settle would be good. Rooms are clean, but a change of towels and bedding could be more frequent, although laundry is efficient.
Thank you for your review and valued feedback - we are glad to hear you are happy overall and I will certainly forward your comments to the team at Ayresome Court.
The staff at Ayresome Court are amazing. My mother-in-law moved in just under a month ago and they have made her and us so welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They listen to any concerns or issues and act straightaway. We can't thank them enough to help her settle in. We know she's safe and cared for. No matter how busy the staff are they always make time for you. The only downside is that the building could do with a little tlc.
Thank you for your lovely review and feedback which will be passed to the team.
Excellent welcome from the outset. The manager and all staff are always friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The care home is lovely and clean and appears to be very well run. The food always looks lovely and it has a lovely calm, quiet atmosphere.
Thank you for such a lovely review - your wonderful comments will be passed on to the team.
I have been staying here as part of my recovery from a lower leg amputation. I can honestly say that being here has played a massive part in how successfully that recovery is going. The staff are, without exception, polite, engaging and across the board lovely. They seem genuinely interested in how my rehab and treatment is going, and have been nothing but supportive. I would have absolutely no issue with recommending this home to anyone. Thank you for looking after me so well.
Thank you for your lovely review, your praise is much appreciated and will be passed to the team.
Excellent.
So far, everything has been good. Certain things, i.e. activities, have not been tried due to lack of his mobility.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home, I will pass this feedback to the team so we can look at alternative activities for your loved one to try.
In the ten days my mother was at Ayresome Court Nursing Home, the care she received was outstanding. She was treated with care, dignity and affection. We could not have asked for more.
Thank you for your review of Ayresome Court, your fantastic feedback will be passed to our Ayresome Court team.
I feel no hesitation in ringing for updates after my daily visit. And when it becomes too much for me, the genuine support and care are heartwarming. While I obviously wish we didn’t need to use the services, I am hugely grateful that we could get into this home. It’s clean and tidy, the food is great and it feels like home for my sister. I will never be able to express my gratitude to the amazing staff for all they’re doing for us. Outstanding.
Thank you for your lovely review of Ayresome Court - your kind words will be passed on to our Ayresome Court team.
It is a massive decision to make for a loved one, which care home to choose. But when we were looking for my Dad, the Manager suggested we go and have a look around, as, afterall, they were going to be looking after our VIP. This comment set the scene for us as a family. Dad has been in for 5 weeks now and has been really well looked after. The staff, well what can I say about the staff, they are angels. Nothing is too much trouble for any resident and each resident is cared for individually, all needs are catered for. My Dad would say the food lets the place down, not enough for a man who only needs respite care (ie. one sausage was deemed okay for a sausage and onion casserole - I can see where he is coming from!). But this aside - you couldn't ask for better care - just hope it is still open when it's my turn!
Thank you for such lovely comments about our team and home - these will certainly be passed on to our colleagues at Ayresome Court (including more sausages required!).
My mum has been a resident of Ayresome Court Nursing Home for 3 years now and I have nothing but praise for the care she has received during this period. She is extremely happy and settled in the home and always tells me how well she is looked after and how lovely the staff are to her. Covid/lockdown was a very difficult time for us all and I think the home dealt with it very well indeed. Keep up the good work everyone and a big thank you for looking after my mum so well.
Thank you for your wonderful and positive review - our care team will be over the moon to see this, thank you!
The main thing for me is the total reassurance that my dad is safe, well looked after, and happy. All the things that Ayresome Court and its staff provide. In the three-plus years my dad has resided there, I have had no issues, and find the staff to be very caring, helpful, compassionate, and extremely friendly. To sum up, as a family, we could not ask for more.
Thank you for your lovely review and kind words. I will certainly pass your wonderful feedback on to the team at Ayresome Court.
Ayresome Court care home is excellent in every category. The care system and definition of care versus nursing is poor. Mum needs turning 3 x nightly, in hospital this is nursing; here it is social care for which we pay handsomely. It's wrong.
Thank you for your review - I will pass your feedback to the team at Ayresome Court.
Ayresome Court is comfortable for residents. Nice lounge, dining area, and quiet room. However, residents' rooms need updating desperately. Overall they are clean and repairs dealt with promptly. Food is good with a choice offered, laundry service is excellent. Communication needs addressing regarding upcoming events. Covid procedures and other general information regarding residents and relatives' rules information on the door not always read due to people waiting to fill out forms for covid etc.
I am happy to let you know that we currently have a refurbishment plan in place as we speak which will improve both the look and feel of the rooms. Thank you for your positive review and comments that I will pass to the home.
I have not marked the rating for management as he has just started at Ayresome Court.
