Always found the staff to be very polite and competent. The room is clean.

My mum received exceptional care from all medical, care, admin and support staff throughout a 2 month period of palliative care for cancer from September 2023. Sadly, she passed away in November 2023. We will always be extremely grateful to everyone at Ayresome Court who, without exception, went out of their way to make my mum’s stay as comfortable as it could possibly be. In what were obviously difficult circumstances for us, we can honestly say it was a privilege to witness such remarkable compassion and instinct to care for others, from all of the staff, at every level. We cannot praise the teams at Ayresome Court highly enough and have no hesitation in highly recommending their services. They were outstanding! Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone involved.

I would like to commend the way the staff and one member of the nursing team in particular coped with the end of life of my father-in-law in very difficult circumstances. Nothing but kindness and care was shown at the time to him and the whole family and in particular to his widowed wife the next day who is also a resident. Thank you all for your ongoing support.

Thank you so much for looking after and taking care of my mam when I was allowed to come in to say goodbye with my service dog and not forgetting the staff for looking after me after, with a nice cup of coffee before I went back home.

I can't praise everyone enough. My mum has received excellent care and everyone goes above and beyond to help. The home itself is immaculate and Mum's room is always pristine. Would recommend this care home to anyone looking for long-term care for a family member.

The initial move into the home from hospital was very smooth and dignified. Although she has now lost her sight completely the staff are very supportive, friendly and extremely helpful to her. We are very pleased she has settled into the new environment as well as being content with the situation we now find ourselves in. It is also striking to find how very friendly and cheerful all of the staff I meet at the home are.

I cannot fault the care my father has received from all the staff at Ayresome Court Nursing Home. He has had various health issues to contend with in his short stay at the home and this would have not been at all possible without the impeccable and personal support he has received from all the team. He has been treated like a member of their own family.

Since my mother came for rehabilitation with you she has had nothing but the very best of care. Following a very bad experience in a different home, she was very anxious. However, her room is great (very important she had her own ensuite) and the team have been nothing short of amazing.

Ayresome Court Nursing Home cared for my mother in the last few weeks of her life. The care provided was outstanding, both to my mum and to ourselves. Key to Mum's care with the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, they were professional and caring but delivered this with a sense of humour that Mum appreciated calling them her new friends. As a family, we cannot thank Ayresome Court Nursing Home enough.

This home is perfect for my mother, the staff are very attentive and could not do enough for the residents and family members.

The staff quality certainly is first class. Some of whom go above and beyond their support for me personally as well as for my husband. Certainly outweighs the somewhat tired appearance of the premises and the uninspired and unappetising food.

The care home is very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My husband was well looked after. We were reassured by there being nurses on site. We would use this care home again.

The staff are excellent, very short staffed. Food is terrible, my family brought it in for me. The shower didn't work on the second floor. In for eight weeks and had a shower once a week. A few were during the early hours like 5 am in the morning because there was not enough staff to do it any other time. The visitors' toilets were broken and had to use mine in my room. I've had to fill this form in because you need to realise how residents and rehabilitation people feel, not a good experience.
