Highfield Care Home

My friend is so well looked after. I did my first coffee morning and loved it. Lots of lovely cakes. Everybody tucked in and I had a wonderful lovely morning. I certainly did.

Highfield is an excellent care home. Staff are brilliant - excellent care. Food beautiful. Clean rooms. I love it here and would recommend to others.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Can't do enough to help. Would recommend Highfield to others.

As a family, the care given to my mother we found to be exceptional! Always kind, always caring. In the last few days of her life, the staff were very supportive to us and gentle and kind to mum. It may not be the smartest care home but that's not important, it's the people involved that counts. One big family.

My mother was really well looked after and respected by all the staff. It was a pleasure to go to visit her because I was always made to feel so welcome and the home had a warm and happy atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble.

All the staff at both Highfields and home visits through Care Solutions have been kind. Considerate and professional. Excellent service. Highfield facilities are also excellent.

I was always content that my mother was receiving the best of care here.

My mother is well looked after in the care home. The staff are all lovely and friendly and it has a nice family atmosphere. I have peace of mind having my mother stay at the Highfield and know she is well looked after and cared for.

My mam receives excellent care at Highfield. Activities are great. Food is excellent and so is the care she receives.

My mother-in-law has been in the Highfield Care Home for 3 years now very happy with everything. When taking out for the day always wants to get back to the place she calls home, music to our ears. Staff are fantastic always willing to help if an issue needs sorting, always a happy atmosphere when we walk in. We couldn't have asked for a better home for my mother-in-law.

The staff are like family to her and they are friendly and caring nothing is too much trouble for them. Mam is always informed of the activities she goes on outings. The food is great and we always get asked if we would like a meal. Well done to all the staff.

Overall we find the home clean, safe and very well run.

The activities coordinator has really befriended Mum since she came to Highfield Care Home. She has been instrumental in helping Mum settle! She is always upbeat.

My granddaughter is well looked after. The family are content and confident and don't worry about her well being. She is able to live as she chooses all staff are lovely.

Mum has been a resident at Highfield for 7 months now and has settled in very well. Despite in the past always saying that she never wanted to go into a home, she admits now that she likes where she lives and knows she is much better off here. She likes the company and the feeling of being safe. The staff ensure this atmosphere of care and safety - they are all friendly, tolerant and caring, ensuring that mum gets the best of care. The home is run efficiently and the manager and senior carers are always on hand to discuss any problems that may arise. I have found them professional, proactive and organised.

I am visiting from N.Z. My mother has been in Highfield Care Home for a year. The staff are marvellous. I am spending 2-3 hours a day at the home with my father. I have not seen any inappropriate care. Everyone is great with the residents. I have never heard a raised voice or harsh word. All the residents are treated with respect and where possible, like normal people. They have plenty of activities and fun e.g. bingo, hoopla, and raffles.

I live at Highfield Care Home and it is very nice. The staff are lovely and make my family welcome. The meals and activities are good. Staff will always stop and have a chat, nothing is too much trouble.
