I have found the time my mother has been here very good. I can not fault the staff and what they do for my mother. The food is excellent and you have a good range of choices. The bedrooms are kept clean and bathroom. So on the whole, I am very happy with the care my mam has received.

The staff are very caring and supportive to both my husband and myself. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. My husband has improved tremendously under their excellent care and encouragement. I can't thank them enough for their support to both of us.

Lovely team of carers, thank you all for helping my Mam. The room was very nice. Visiting was great and the team was very accommodating. Mam is very pleased to be home but misses the team. Would recommend Barrington Lodge.

Mother was an emergency intermediate care case but was placed on a nursing department and was therefore less urgent. The unit was very noisy due to the call system and frequent emergencies. Food was terrible (worse than school dinners) so we moved Mother out before malnutrition set in. We had to ask
for the commode to be cleaned 3 times (on separate occasions).

My father seemed happy, relaxed and engaged in the activities with the coordinators. Staff were so welcoming and happy to show photos taken of activities. He appeared well presented, with hair well groomed and quite cohesive today. Thank you.

The kindness and attention given to my husband when he was resting in the Lodge for 3 weeks were excellent and very caring. Also when he passed away on 15/01/23 the courtesy and patience shown were second to none, not only to my husband but me and my nephew. The home was very clean and welcoming when
we entered at all times, the biggest praise I should give was to all the staff, and incredible people, thank you. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Having stayed here on some respite care, the staff are exceptional and very polite. Nothing is a bother, and they go out of their way to accommodate. The room is spacious, very comfortable and warm. The food is great and all home-cooked.

My stay here was, I called it, a holiday. As my son went on holiday to America for 3 weeks. So well looked after for three weeks break, well fed and carers and staff included laundry, cleaning and everyone else all kept very cheerful and friendly. Thank you.

My Father-in-law has just spent 3 nights in emergency respite. We are so grateful for the respect and dignity he was treated with by the staff. They were so helpful and professional from admittance through to discharge.
Finding somewhere for a loved one who needs help is incredibly difficult, so I

Very good staff kind and pleasant even though the hard days of being short-staffed can’t fault anything thank you all. Beautiful home and garden, the food smells lovely the staff are too underrated and sadly underpaid.
