Loss of clothes. Left with less than mum had.
Kitchen - needs cleaning desperately. 2nd floor manager told my mum after being there for 2 hours "settle yourself down". Took 2 weeks for mum to have a bath.
Certain members of staff absolutely brilliant, some not so.
They need a proper manager who sit down with the relatives and explain things and get details. This never happened.
Thank you for your review. After speaking to the staff there was no concerns regarding no hot water. Water in residents rooms and bathrooms and shower rooms are set to a temperature to ensure our residents don't suffer burns or scalds. I have an open door policy and none of these other concerns...
I have lived here a few weeks and I love my room it is very spacious with a nice view. The meals are very nice. The coffee shop is lovely to sit to have a drink with my family
Thank you for this amazing review I will pass your great comments on to the care staff
Over the last few months I have noticed an increase in a range of activities available to residents. It is brilliant that there are now two activity workers focusing on providing activities both group based and individualised. I am hoping that this remains the situation from now on
Thanks for your lovely review will pass on to the team. I want the residents to be at the heart of everything we do. Again thank you
I am well looked after

My mother was recently in Derwent for respite care, initially we were very weary about the whole process but the brilliant staff at Derwent couldn't have made the transition any smoother, they were very supportive and couldn't do enough for us as a family. The care my mam received was exceptional, the home itself is lovely, very clean and welcoming. There was always plenty of activities taking place. As a family we can't thank the staff at Derwent enough, we will definitely be returning to Derwent for any future respite care.

Staff are amazing, food is fantastic, the home itself is beautiful with a bar and cafe area, always immaculate.
