I can not recommend this home highly enough to anyone. The home is clean and warm. Rooms are comfortable with on suites, and the lounge areas large and a nice place to sit and spend time in. All the staff and I mean all, from the handyman to the kitchen staff, cares, office and management are excellent, friendly, smiling faces, and nothing is a bother to anyone; they all make you feel at ease and at home.

My father is looked after very well, and we have no worries as we know he is in good hands. The staff are always helpful, friendly and polite, and the resident always comes first. The staff and management have been exceptional during this difficult time.

My mum has dementia and has been a resident since 2017. The home is very well maintained and is always clean and well presented. The staff are excellent and have always been extremely kind and caring and always willing to listen and help. I could not have found a better place for my mum.

The staff are always happy when they are on shift and are always attentive to my needs. Sometimes there is a lack of communication between shifts but this is an ongoing issue. I have lived here for three years now and have made some friends. There is always enough food served on a daily basis and there is always enough food served throughout the day. The overall standard of the home is good that includes care and support, facilities and cleanliness.

Both my relatives have been resident at Melbury Court. My cousin was there until today, on the Lumley Unit, but due to his increasing care needs, we needed to move him to an EMI nursing bed, which we have now found, but he has been taken into hispital and will be discharged to his new home, hopefully.
The home is comfortable and nicely furnished for a care home and well looked after. The staff on each of the units have always been friendly and kind to myself and my cousin. At times, due to his dementia, my cousin has been difficult to deal with. It's very sad he has to leave but I know this is the best decision all round now. Thank you for being there for us all. We are very thankful and grateful.

I particularly want to thank the senior carer, the people in the office and the manager.

Melbury Court is a very friendly, very caring and extremely clean care home. My mum is very well cared for and is treated like a family member with love and care shown towards her.
The facilities are spotless, with bright and neutral decor providing a calming and welcoming atmosphere. The lounge areas are comfortable and plush and the bedrooms are spacious with a comfortable bed and chair. The meals provided are of a high standard, giving a balanced and healthy diet.

The staff are really friendly and it is a pleasure to visit. We as a family, couldn't have asked for a better care home for our elderly mother.

A friendly and family orientated place. I feel part of the place although only a visitor.
Mum is very well looked after, all her needs and wants are met and she has come on in leaps and bounds. We feel really happy she is in Melbury Court. Staff are lovely, professional and efficient. Food is very fresh and nutritious.

Both my sister and I are very confident and secure knowing Mum is safe, happy and extremely well looked after by lovely caring staff.

I find this home is wonderful as I promised my dad he would not go into a home but unfortunately he needed nursing. They have been so supportive to my dad and myself. I feel happy leaving my dad in their care. If any problems come up, they will ring me. I'm so happy with this home, they give me 100% at all times.

I find the staff and management to be very friendly and efficient, any problems are dealt with very quickly. Anywhere you have people, you will never have perfection, but in my opinion, Melbury Court is the best you will find anywhere. I spend 10 hrs a day most days with my wife, so I see and hear a lot of what goes on, and if I can't have my wife at home, I am very happy for her to be in Melbury Court.

I have been coming here for 3 years and everyone makes me welcome here. Both staff and residents.
All staff are very approachable and will answer your questions very honestly. I have never ever had any reason to find a fault or complain about anything.
I'll be back - next week.

Keep it up - you are all worth your weight in diamonds. Well done.

My mother has Alzheimer's dementia and has been in Melbury Court since May 2018. She settled far better than I expected, taking pleasure from her room and the surroundings. All the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They are proactive in their care, seeking medical assistance when they perceive any 'abnormality' and keeping relatives informed. My mother is safe, well looked after and you can't put a price on that!

On the whole, I'm very satisfied with my father's care.

But there is one issue and that is when he rings the buzzer for the toilet there is always a wait, anywhere up to an hour wait. This is not acceptable.
