Thank you for raising your concerns with us regarding Acomb Court. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience. Your Mother resided within a memory care community where at times other residents can walk into other residents bedrooms, colleagues do support residents at this time with redirection. We are sorry that this caused distress to you. We are reassured that staff took appropriate actions when there were concerns about your Mothers wellbeing or when an incident occurred. At HC-One, we aim to provide high quality care, including engaging activities. We pride ourselves in daily provision of activities over 7 days a week with 2 Wellbeing Co-ordinators employed to support our residents with meaningful activities. We apologise for the loss of your Mothers glasses and your views that the staff did not investigate this thoroughly. We will address this with the team to improve future practices.
