The carers are patient, friendly and kind as they carry out their duties. The nursing staff follow up any concerns promptly. The activity coordinator works very hard to organise a range of activities and events and tries to involve all.
In summary Ashington Grange provides a friendly, caring home.
I have enjoyed my stay at the grange the staff are very good and very respectful to their residents. Nothing seems a bother if you ask for something they go out of there way to help you. I have had a good rest whilst on my 2 weeks stay.
HAPPY with my living place.
All the staff were attentive and polite.
The staff are the Grange's biggest assets, their positive, pleasant and supportive demeanour helped my mother, who was initially very unsettled, to settle well into her new surroundings.
Mum came to Ashlington Grange Care Home in March following a continued health care review release from a stroke unit. Mum had amazing care throughout her time here. Everyone was friendly & professional. Her care has been second to none & we would willingly recommend the nursing home to others. We felt very supported by the manager & all the staff.
I/we visit my cousin who has been a resident in Ashington Grange for quite a number of years. I visit about every four to fie weeks. I have always found the staff here to be very, very pleasant and helpful and there always seems to be a happy atmosphere. All around with both residents and also the staff.
The activities co-ordinator is outstanding. It is fantastic that residents are offered a variety of activities 5 days per week by an individual who seems to have special talents.
There is a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere with an excellent staff/resident ratio. Cleanliness is clearly a high priority and there is no unpleasant odour. Some of the rooms are rather bare and could be personalised more. There is an imaginative range of activities and enthusiasm for considerably more.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We appreciate you highlighting the areas where you feel we have done well and we will continue to build on these successes. We understand that some rooms may appear more bare than others, but residents are welcome to decorate and personalise their...
Most reassuring care plus a safe environment. I would like more physiotherapy when convenient. Get good attention and treatment. Entertainment is good. Friendly and good personal attention.
Friendly place and a safe place.
I'm happy here.
On arrival, we were met and made very welcome. The staff from management, admin and carers were all friendly and approachable. Only been here for a few days so overall impression has been good to excellent. Definitley have been made welcome.
My father is happy and settled in Ashington Grange Care Home and receives good care and support.
The staff are very professional whilst creating a comfortable environment for residents. All visitors are very welcome and also receive the same level of attention.
Everything is the way I like it. No complaints.
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Residents are happy.
The staff are always pleasant, caring and patient.
They organise many events and outings when possible and give a caring environment for their residents. My mother has dementia and I am glad I was able to get her into Ashington Grange and would highly recommend it.
My friend is very well looked after and the staff are always very polite and welcoming.
