Delighted to hear from my friend who I took out today about how much she had enjoyed the group quiz that was organised discussing where everyday expressions came from. An intelligent lady, my friend really needs mental stimulation and conversation which stimulates her to feel alive. She doesn't participate in group activities but get her brain working and she is thrilled. More please!

My experience of Ashington Grange was a very friendly place. The staff are very helpful and a lovely atmosphere. Loved to see the residents enjoying their selves playing bingo. All seemed to be having great fun and laughter.

I visited my aunt on the 4th September 2024 and was totally amazed at the change in her. She has gone from being very downcast and quiet to becoming very chatty and happy. Apart from talking about the delicious food (she used to just pick at meals). She continually spoke about all the lovely kind staff that help her. She also told me about all the entertainment she does to (she is 99 years old, deaf and blind). So I would personally like to thank everyone for making an old lady very happy.

I am impressed by the ambience and relaxed atmosphere. I am of an age that could well have been a resident. This could be a daunting prospect but I feel that this is a place I could choose if my independence was lost.

Since my first contact with Ashington Grange Care Home, the management and staff have been professional, friendly and helpful. I have lasting power of attorney for my uncle and all at the Grange have made my work in assuring care for my uncle very easy. The Grange is clean, well-run, well-organised and welcoming. The extracurricular activities for residents are wonderful.
