Bryn Celyn was our first choice when looking for a nursing home for Mum as ever since our very first visit, all the staff have been pleasant, friendly and take time to say hello or chat. Nothing is too much trouble.
Mum is very happy, content and settled here and on days when she is well enough to
get up, she is always nicely groomed and dressed as she would be at home. We feel comfortable knowing she is being so well cared for.
The cleanliness of the home is superb and we particularly love having a cuppa with Mum in the cafe area.
The communication from all staff is excellent and we would feel comfortable raising a concern if one arose, as anything we want to talk about has always been treated with the utmost respect and attention.

My nan came from hospital to Bryn Celyn after a major stroke. She was welcomed with open arms and has been looked after like family. I struggled to leave her here but after a few weeks, I was very happy she was safe and cared for. The lifestyle team are sent from heaven and take Nan out and have encouraged
her to join in activities and socialise. The carers and nursing team are amazing and are always keeping me in the loop with her health. Thank you all for making a hard decision easier.

Since moving to Bryn Celyn earlier this year, the treatment my nan has received has been astounding. They regularly schedule activities for residents and day out, and the staff are all extremely professional and friendly. They work hard to encourage and motivate my nan to engage in activities that will
benefit her physical and mental health. The care team have done an amazing job in assisting my nan whilst recovering from what should have been a fatal stroke.
I can't thank the staff enough for the way they have cared for my nan since she moved here.

Caring and friendly staff, extremely attentive and good-humoured. Cosy and clean surroundings. Individual respect for my friend, the care given was particular to her, often going beyond the call of duty.

A very friendly atmosphere at this home makes you feel very welcome. My father seems very happy here.
There're plenty of activities and something is put on for every occasion.

My mother was a resident Bryn Celyn Care Home from May 2020 to January 2023 when she passed away. My mother went into the home during the first COVID-19 lockdown, however, staff at Bryn Celyn organised as many outside visits at possible, in line with the laws so that we could still connect with our
loved ones. They were brilliant at keeping me up to date with any lockdowns and when they were being lifted so that we could visit again. The staff even arranged video chats for us when we were unable to visit due to the home being on lockdown.
My mother suffered with dementia, but during her stay in Bryn Celyn we saw her mood lift and she was always very happy there. Both the nursing care, social care and activities at Bryn Celyn are second to none. Both the private rooms and communal areas were spotless at all times. My whole family will always be grateful to Bryn Celyn, as we could go to bed at night knowing that my mother was in the best possible care. Thank You.

First impressions were very good. We were greeted at the front door and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The communal areas look very clean and tidy. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

Very pleased with the care Mam is receiving. She is feeling and looking good, even though she is suffering with dementia and terminal cancer. The staff couldn't be more pleasant or nicer towards her.

Bryn Celyn is absolutely outstanding, my mother has been there nearly 3 years now and the care is exceptional. They treat her as family and I never have to worry about her. I visit every day and I see the care first hand and have got to know patients and staff. I cannot praise them enough. Never left
alone or feeling lonely, the patients have a full life here, looking forward to their special Christmas now. Brilliant care home. The best decision we made as a family.

My dad has recently moved into Bryn Celyn, and our experience as a family has been exceptional. Welcomed by all the staff and, in particular, the care home manager and her team. The staff have enabled my dad to transition from his home into his new environment to make him feel at home. There was a greeting
card welcoming him, labelling all his clothes, a TV put up on the wall, allowing children/god to visit and help my dad to settle. The new environment and stimulation he is getting have lightened his mood and are having a positive impact.

Staff and carers very helpful, always on the case. Cleaners are constantly busy, rooms and halls immaculate. Windows cleaned regular, toilets and equipment are regularly checked. Bedding changed daily or when requested.

Bryn Celyn is of a high standard. Care for residents is paramount, which is due to the excellent caring staff. Eight years ago my mother-in-law was a resident at Bryn Celyn, the standards were high then! I can safely say they are the same now with my brother being a resident. I recommend this care home
to everyone that needs a residential care home. Keep up the fantastic work. Many thanks for all the care and attention you give to all residents.
