I could not ask for a better home for my mother. The home is warm and comfortable and the staff are all amazing. The choice of daily foods is really good and the quality of meals cooked is excellent. There are plenty of activities to keep residents occupied with trips out and entertainment brought in. On the whole, there is everything there from hairdressers to nail and foot care. I am more than pleased with the care my mother receives.

This is a great home, the staff are friendly, caring and engaged with the residents every day. From the start (September 2024), they have treated my aunt as an individual and engaged with her as an adult who can make choices and not as 'just another' resident.

Bryn Celyn was our first choice for our mother since being admitted in August 2024, we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff are very professional, caring and supportive not only of our mother's needs but also to, us as a family, nothing is ever too much trouble. My nan came from hospital to Bryn Celyn after a major stroke. She was welcomed with open arms and has been looked after like family. I struggled to leave her here but after a few weeks, I was very happy she was safe and cared for. The lifestyle team are sent from heaven and take Nan out and have encouraged her to join in activities and socialise. The carers and nursing team are amazing and are always keeping me in the loop with her health. Thank you all for making a hard decision easier.

My mother suffered with dementia, but during her stay in Bryn Celyn we saw her mood lift and she was always very happy there. Both the nursing care, social care and activities at Bryn Celyn are second to none. Both the private rooms and communal areas were spotless at all times. My whole family will always be grateful to Bryn Celyn, as we could go to bed at night knowing that my mother was in the best possible care. Thank You.

First impressions were very good. We were greeted at the front door and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The communal areas look very clean and tidy. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

Very pleased with the care Mam is receiving. She is feeling and looking good, even though she is suffering with dementia and terminal cancer. The staff couldn't be more pleasant or nicer towards her.

Bryn Celyn is absolutely outstanding, my mother has been there nearly 3 years now and the care is exceptional. They treat her as family and I never have to worry about her. I visit every day and I see the care first hand and have got to know patients and staff. I cannot praise them enough. Never left alone or feeling lonely, the patients have a full life here, looking forward to their special Christmas now. Brilliant care home. The best decision we made as a family.

I became part of Bryn Celyn Care Home in February 2026 after feeling straight away that this was more than a care home; it was a community. The warmth and familiarity you feel as soon as you walk in is what drew me here, and it’s something I work to uphold every day.
My journey in care began back in 2012, when I worked as a care assistant while studying at Swansea University. Those early experiences shaped everything that came after. I qualified in 2016 with a BSc in Mental Health Nursing and went on to support people with complex needs in nursing home settings. These experiences strengthened my belief that good leadership and well-supported teams make a meaningful difference to residents’ daily lives.
At Bryn Celyn, my priority is simple: to make sure residents feel truly at home. I know that moving into care isn’t always an easy decision, and that’s why creating a sense of belonging, purpose, and comfort matters so much to me. I like to be present in the home, chatting with residents, catching up with families, and supporting the team because feeling seen and heard makes a difference.
Supporting and developing the team is something I’m passionate about. When colleagues feel valued, confident, and encouraged, the whole home feels it. Kindness, familiarity, and community aren’t just words for us; they’re the way we work.
Outside of work, I’m a mum to twin daughters who keep me grounded, busy, and endlessly entertained. Family life reminds me every day why creating a warm, safe, and caring home for our residents is so important.
