This is a very nice residential home. The staff are friendly and professional and outstandingly caring. The food is of 5 star hotel standard and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend Bryn Celyn for respite care and residential accommodation. Congratulations to all members of staff for making my stay a happy one and hope to see you all again.

Our dear dad has been poorly recently as a result he has spent the last few weeks at Bryn Celyn care home. Whilst there he has received exemplary care from the wonderful staff. They are all fantastic and dad returned home this week. I would like to record here my sincere thanks to every one of the managers, professional carers and the catering staff. Dad has made a remarkable recovery. You are amazing!

My mum has been very well cared for since coming in December 2019. I have been very pleased with her care throughout Covid. I have been grateful for all the care and love given to my mum by the fantastic staff. Communication has been excellent - regular emails and always willing to talk at any time.

The service has been outstanding both in terms of arranging her transfer and the care she has received since. The staff have been really nice, helpful and supportive, the food is excellent and the home itself is very pleasant and airy. Overall outstanding.

My experience with Bryn Celyn has been one of great satisfaction in every aspect. The staff were all friendly and very caring. The cleanliness was excellent. The food was of a high standard with several choices at each mealtime. I moved in just before lockdown and I couldn’t have asked for better it is so good and everything is up to date. I had a surprise and I am more than happy here. At home, I had loads of friends and I came to Bryn Celyn and I have made wonderful friends and the team are great to me. January was a very special time for me and I had a really special Birthday and this care home went above and beyond and made great memories for me and my family.

I have nothing but praise for the hardworking, caring staff at Bryn Celyn. The care and compassion they show are second to none. My dad has been there for 3 and a half years, the staff are part of our family and they treat us the same. We can never thank the staff enough for the way they have cared for dad during this awful pandemic, it gives me comfort knowing he's cared for by such caring people. Dad enjoys his food there and there is a very high standard of cleanliness. These carers are angels in disguise. Highly recommend.

I have been a resident for about eighteen months and I have found the staff at the home to be caring, compassionate and professional. Any concerns I have had have usually been dealt with promptly despite some staff shortages. I am able to undertake a good variety of activities along with the good friends that I have been fortunate to make here. We have a wonderfully efficient laundry service and the meals here are varied and of a good standard. I am enjoying it here.

I get on with the team at Bryn Celyn, we mostly have a laugh. I don’t always like the food but I have always been fussy, they do their best. I’m happy living here, I like my room and have all of my personal things close to me.

Bryn Celyn is well kept. The staff are organized and friendly and always go out of their way to support the residents as well as their families. I live in the US so even before lockdowns and social distancing, the team at Bryn Celyn were great in supporting regular video catch-ups with my mom and keeping us connected. They take care of the little things as well as the big.
Bryn Celyn is a very friendly place. The residents are well looked after and there are plenty of activities to keep the residents entertained. During this difficult time the staff have gone above and beyond their call of duty and I am very grateful to each one of them for keeping our loved ones safe.

Amazing home, clean and fresh. Staff are always willing to help and friendly. The manager is full of life, very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a variety of activities and always put residents care and welfare first. A first-class home, which is highly recommended.

I became part of Bryn Celyn Care Home in February 2026 after feeling straight away that this was more than a care home; it was a community. The warmth and familiarity you feel as soon as you walk in is what drew me here, and it’s something I work to uphold every day.
My journey in care began back in 2012, when I worked as a care assistant while studying at Swansea University. Those early experiences shaped everything that came after. I qualified in 2016 with a BSc in Mental Health Nursing and went on to support people with complex needs in nursing home settings. These experiences strengthened my belief that good leadership and well-supported teams make a meaningful difference to residents’ daily lives.
At Bryn Celyn, my priority is simple: to make sure residents feel truly at home. I know that moving into care isn’t always an easy decision, and that’s why creating a sense of belonging, purpose, and comfort matters so much to me. I like to be present in the home, chatting with residents, catching up with families, and supporting the team because feeling seen and heard makes a difference.
Supporting and developing the team is something I’m passionate about. When colleagues feel valued, confident, and encouraged, the whole home feels it. Kindness, familiarity, and community aren’t just words for us; they’re the way we work.
Outside of work, I’m a mum to twin daughters who keep me grounded, busy, and endlessly entertained. Family life reminds me every day why creating a warm, safe, and caring home for our residents is so important.
