On the whole, a good care home, however, there have been some occasions when left alone eg on the toilet, he has fallen and hurt himself, which would not have happened if he had been supervised. The cleanliness of the home is excellent as is the diet provided for the resident. Staff are helpful when
any issue is brought up.

At first we, as a family, were naturally apprehensive about our mother going into residential care. However, our fears were soon allayed. The staff are approachable and friendly. They treat the residents with care, dignity and respect. There are numerous activities for residents to participate in if
they so wish, whilst respecting those who chose not to. The en-suite rooms can be personalised to each resident's personal tastes and personal items from home can be brought in. The cafe is a lovely place to meet and on-site.

My mother is settled into home and well looked after by friendly, helpful and approachable staff. The home is clean and well kept with good facilities. As a visitor, I always feel welcome and encouraged to discuss Mam's care and wellbeing. She is happy and settled in a well-run home that is keen to

Excellent staff. Can't do enough to help you. Well organised activities although some good ones have not been repeated when the contract was out. Food is excellent with a good variety of meals and choice. Facilities eg the cafe area are well thought out and give residents and visitors an informal place
to relax and chat. Would definitely recommend this nursing home.

I like the fact it is trying to keep residents' minds active. it is clean, tidy and a world away from lots of other care homes (in my experience which is like going back in time). The meals are lovely, there is plenty going on and I feel he is being cared for and is safe, which gives us peace of mind.

The food is great. Care is really good and my mother loves it up here. The coffee shop is a great thing to have as well and is very inviting as it looks nice and clean and plenty of people use it. Overall very happy that my mother is being cared for. Better than we expected as we really didn't want
to put her in a care home.

I have been visiting Bryn Celyn for a number of years and have always found that the staff are very friendly and approachable.
They provide a high standard of care which is tailored to individual needs.

I cannot praise the home enough. Since my mother-in-law has lived at the home her quality of life has improved greatly. She lived alone and was lonely and depressed. The home has given her a new lease of life. All the staff treat both her and us with respect and care. She loves her new family.

Mam has settled in really well and if anyone asks if she likes being here she likes being here she says "of course I do". The staff are excellent very caring and always treat residents with dignity and always make sure that they give residents a choice about where they want to go and what to do etc.
All of the family who comes to visit mam are always impressed with the home and the care received.

My husband was diagnosed with lewy body (Parkinsons and dementia) nearly 4 years ago and I cared for him at home. He is now unable to walk or stand and requires hoisting and double handling. He went to Bryn Celyn in January and had settled really well. All the staff are friendly and care for him very
well. There are no visiting restrictions. The manager has an open door policy and I can talk to her about any aspects of my husbands care at any time. The nursing staff are all lovely and understand my husband's needs. Bryn Celyn has excellent social areas so that residents are not confined to their rooms and they are encouraged to eat in the lovely dining room.

My mum arrived at Bryn Celyn in a dreadful state both physically and mentally after a bad experience in another terrible home. Your staff immediately calmed and soothed her and she spent the rest of her respite care with yourselves being looked after to the highest standards.
My dad also came for three
weeks to convalesce and the care he was given was second to none. We believe he would not have recovered from surgery so quickly if he hadn't gone to Bryn Celyn knowing they were both there together was a huge weight off my mind as I live 200 miles away.

I spent several weeks, looking at different homes for my mum. That's difficult enough when you realise that you are no longer able to give your parent the care she needs. This home ticks all of the boxes - I looked and thought, would I be happy here, the answer is yes.


The staff have a lot of compassion

and empathy for the residents, it's odour free, very clean, the food is excellent as I have spent a few afternoons having lunch with my mum. As for the new manageress - what a lovely lady, and very approachable. I can't commend her enough. She has gained my respect, well suited to her position, with her warm, welcoming smile, she takes the time to listen to you, and that is very important. My mother is safe, happy and that is very important to me and all the other relatives.
