Wonderful experience. Came up for the fete, lovely people and the environment.
Great standard of nursing care. The care staff are really kind and friendly but do seem short staffed. My father would sometimes like to have a chat, but the care staff are very busy. I always feel welcome and can call in at any time.

Very good home, staff first class.
Staff are considerate and kind, well-motivated management are understanding at a time when the situation can be very confusing for all concerned. Buildings and gardens are well maintained, which brings a good atmosphere to everyone who visits.
All the staff are excellent always polite and helpful.

I think it's a lovely home, everyone so helpful, nothing too much trouble. As a family member, we feel happy that our loved ones have settled so well, only being here a short time, all the comforts of home, makes us happy knowing our parents are treated with the care and dignity they deserve.
This care home has a very calming and caring feel about it. The staff are very welcoming. Nothing is too much bother for them. They treat you with kindness, consideration and are happy to help you at any time. I'm glad we as a family, choose it for my sister.
The whole feel for the property is a family, close-knit, full of wonderful caring people whom we feel we have made a friendly connection with. Both myself, my sisters and the whole family are over the moon with the care they provide for both Mum and Dad. It's great to know that my parents have settled in and are enjoying the environment.

The care that was offered to my brother was excellent. Food very good. Always felt very clean and freshly shaved.
Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful, they have time for their residents. I do, however, find that some days there could be more staff, staff are rushed off their feet but do their best.
We review our dependency levels on all floors on a regular basis and on September 29th 2017, a new dependency review was undertaken and completed by the Home Manager and Deputy Manager and sent to the Area Director for review.
Issues concerning us were listened to and later related to the staff.
Staff are always friendly and helpful. If there is any problem it is quickly dealt with. They have done wonders for my Mum as she could not weight bear when she went there, but now she gets around well with her zimmer frame.
I have had a review with staff at Glanffrwd I have also had a review with the health board and I get telephone calls from the mental health team, all of which are satisfactory.
The staff at Glanffrwd Care Home are consistently caring personable and welcoming. They know the residents well and treat them as individuals, giving them a sense of companionship and bring fun into their lives. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glanffrwd Care Home to other people who are looking for a caring environment for their relatives.
Overall home appears very good. I would recommend this home.
