My Cousin has been a resident at Greenhill Manor for nearly 4 years now. Prior to my Cousin being placed into care and on the advice of the Manager at Greenhill Manor, who also made the necessary arrangements for my Cousin to visit the home for a couple of hours during his transition from the local
Hospital, to enable him to get a feel for what it was like at Greenhill Manor. We choose this particular Care Home due to its location. My Cousin absolutely loved it there from those couple of hours and remains very contented. Management and Staff are absolutely fantastic and my Cousin is always praising his carers to me each time I visit. He refers to the Home like a Hotel and states he feels like a very welcome guest. From being apprehensive of going into care to being 100% happy makes all the difference to my Cousin and our family, knowing he will be looked after with no worries. Keep up the tremendous work you do, you don't know how much it means. I thank you for that.

My uncle recently had to be rushed to the local hospital and he was accompanied by a staff member from 'Cocklebird' community at Greenhill. When I arrived at the hospital the staff member that accompanied my uncle from the home was doing a brilliant job of keeping my uncle (dementia resident) calm and
the hospital staff fully informed and me updated (I believe he stayed beyond his shift end - a real credit to himself and Greenhill Manor). All the staff I encounter also do an excellent job under often difficult times, not just with my uncle but with all residents who are treated with care, respect and humanity. I am a frequent visitor at all sorts of times.

My mother has been in Greenhill Manor since April. The care they have shown her has been exceptional. There is always a choice of food and activities are plentiful. The staff do above and beyond their role and with a smile. I believe this is down to the strong leadership from the manager of the home,
he makes himself available at anytime.

As this is the only care home I have had dealings with it is difficult to be judgemental in many reports. We did however visit a number of others before choosing this one. Our general opinion of Greenhill Manor is good, though there are signs occasionally that the staff do no have time to finish off
their jobs fully. The individual member of staff who you deal with can also leave you feeling differently to if you had dealt with another individual but I guess that applies in all walks of life.

From the manager, bursar to the care staff everyone is friendly, caring and happy. The ethos is a warm welcome and the care of the highest standard. Since transferring from hospital, with general nursing needs, my mother has improved quite significantly. Communication is excellent and professional such
a happy place to be and visit. I am so pleased we chose Greenhill Manor.

As General Manager, Karen works to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship-centred care, clinical compliance, hospitality services and business performance.

Lian has worked at Greenhill Manor since 2014, previously as Hospitality Services Manager and now as Deputy Manager. Within her role, Lian supports General Manager in ensuring high-quality relationship-centred care is provided to all residents.

Mitchell Minney

Mitchell has been a part of the Hallmark Family since 2010. He is responsible for all enquiries and arranges all admissions to Greenhill Manor. Mitchell enjoys networking and works closely with the Marketing Team at our Central Support offices.
