Nestled in the heart of the local community in Ely, Hallmark Regency House is a place residents can live each day to the fullest, providing award-winning residential, nursing and respite care. Residents can also rest assured that all the essentials are covered with Hallmark All-Inclusive.

Moving into a care home can be daunting, but the team’s bighearted approach puts residents and their loved ones at the heart of all they do. As they would have in their own home, loved ones are welcome to pop-by day or night. This welcome is extended to four-legged companions as Regency House will do all they can to move them in with residents.

I have been visiting my friend since she moved into the Regency.
I find the staff very friendly, helpful and caring towards her and the other residents. The choice of activities are excellent and varied. My friend is very happy with the care she has received up to date.

My mother was in Regency until she passed away. However, my mother made many friends in the Regency and I have continued to visit them weekly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy being friends of Regency House.

All the team are really helpful, if I have any questions then they are dealt with straight away, they always keep us informed about any changes. Finding mum a suitable care home has not been easy in Cardiff. Mum is relatively young and we wanted somewhere where she would engage in everyday activities. Since moving mum here, she has improved far more than we expected. She is engaging well with staff and residents. The home is welcoming and there
is always someone to discuss any concerns with. It's been a big choice for mum giving up her home, however, Regency (Hallmark) has helped us all the way.

The care given by staff here is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. My father is very happy here, as all his needs are met. If there are any issues they are dealt with and sorted straight away.
He enjoys the activities that are put on buy staff throughout the week. Staff are so friendly, caring
and helpful. I feel relaxed and happy knowing that my father is getting the best care that is possible.

We have always found The Regency to be like a home from home. My auntie has settled in well and always says what good fun she has. She is still highly interested in current affairs and reads the papers daily; and is always up for any activities that The Regency puts on. At age 93, my aunt feels that
this is the best place for her - she is kept active, feels safe and looked after with dignity and respect.

My mother was moved at very short notice from hospital to Regency House here in Cardiff in order to be closer to my wife and me. The process of selecting the home was made supremely easy by your customer relationship manager. The subsequent assessment was arranged and carried out with the minimum of
fuss and distress to my mother. On arrival at Regency House mum was offered a spectacular omelette by the catering staff as we had missed lunch, she was very grateful! The consistently excellent care and consideration mum has received from all the staff has been fantastic and is the main reason why she has settled into her new home so well. A very challenging ordeal for mum has been met by kindness and welcome. Thank you.

Wendy O'Sullivan

Wendy joined Regency House in January 2022, bringing over seven years of experience in similar roles to her position as Lifestyle Lead. Her dedication to enhancing the lives of residents through meaningful activities and social engagement has earned her the prestigious Gold Award at the Welsh Care Awards, reflecting her passion and commitment to outstanding care.


In her role, Wendy oversees a team of six Lifestyle Assistants, working collaboratively to design and deliver a diverse and engaging activity programme.
