All staff are very friendly and caring. In particular, the 'activity' sessions which are regular and varied are superb. We are extremely pleased that we chose Regency House Care Home for mum.
Outstanding care. Staff take a personal interest, variety of stimulating activity. Superb food. In all a loving caring home. (In fact- I've paid for worse hotels) I'd certainly move in!
My brother has been a resident at this care home for 3 and a half years following a massive stroke. His wife and I have found the staff very caring and helpful, also the domestic and office staff are to be commended.
There is the occasional hitch now and then but nothing major.
All in all, (the family) are very satisfied with this care home.
I find Regency is a very caring place for my mother to spend her days, with the knowledge that she is in safe hands. The carers and the full team are most reliable, friendly and open. I feel on arrival at each visit, that you walk into a home of friends and family - I would not change anything.
My mother was a resident here but unfortunately passed away. As I had already made friends with a number of the residents I come in to see them once a week to have a chat and a coffee. The team is always very friendly and the coffee shop is amazing.
I have found the staff are extremely helpful. I am kept informed on my families health and welfare. The home is kept remarkably clean and maintained. My family member enjoys the food and always says that there is plenty of choice. I have never had any reason to question anything and I feel that the staff are always willing to take time to answer any questions that I might need to have answered. There activities are amazing and there's always plenty of things for my family member to do.
The home offers a safe and caring environment which offers the opportunity for regular activities from craft work through to gardening. The layout of the home provides the easy access to all areas including the garden area which provides peace of mind for family and friends knowing that mum can access areas safely. Food is excellent and there has never been any issues in any friend or family visiting at any time.
The home is very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. There are plenty of activities every day that help to keep the residents active.
I find the staff very friendly, helpful and caring towards her and the other residents. The choice of activities are excellent and varied. My friend is very happy with the care she has received up to date.
An excellent home, staff always available to help and listen, spotlessly clean, and very caring with my dad. Overall excellent.
My mother was in Regency until she passed away. However, my mother made many friends in the Regency and I have continued to visit them weekly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy being friends of Regency House.
All the team are really helpful, if I have any questions then they are dealt with straight away, they always keep us informed about any changes. I am extremely happy with the service and I always visit the coffee shop. It is very friendly and relaxed. Everyone is always ready to help and they are very efficient.
Friendly staff and a lovely environment with good facilities for residents and visitors, a lounge and a coffee shop.
Finding mum a suitable care home has not been easy in Cardiff. Mum is relatively young and we wanted somewhere where she would engage in everyday activities. Since moving mum here, she has improved far more than we expected. She is engaging well with staff and residents. The home is welcoming and there is always someone to discuss any concerns with. It's been a big choice for mum giving up her home, however, Regency (Hallmark) has helped us all the way.
He enjoys the activities that are put on buy staff throughout the week. Staff are so friendly, caring and helpful. I feel relaxed and happy knowing that my father is getting the best care that is possible.
We have always found The Regency to be like a home from home. My auntie has settled in well and always says what good fun she has. She is still highly interested in current affairs and reads the papers daily; and is always up for any activities that The Regency puts on. At age 93, my aunt feels that this is the best place for her - she is kept active, feels safe and looked after with dignity and respect.
Very impressed with the care and staff were friendly. The home was very clean.
The staff are all friendly, helpful, lots of activities for residents. A lot of fund raising i.e BBQ's, theme nights, raffles which are very good.
My mother was moved at very short notice from hospital to Regency House here in Cardiff in order to be closer to my wife and me. The process of selecting the home was made supremely easy by your customer relationship manager. The subsequent assessment was arranged and carried out with the minimum of fuss and distress to my mother. On arrival at Regency House mum was offered a spectacular omelette by the catering staff as we had missed lunch, she was very grateful! The consistently excellent care and consideration mum has received from all the staff has been fantastic and is the main reason why she has settled into her new home so well. A very challenging ordeal for mum has been met by kindness and welcome. Thank you.
Security (feeling safe and secure) feeling at home with new friends. Socialising cocktail parties etc. I enjoy family atmosphere and the friendship at the Regency.
