Nestled in the heart of the local community in Ely, Hallmark Regency House is a place residents can live each day to the fullest, providing award-winning residential, nursing and respite care. Residents can also rest assured that all the essentials are covered with Hallmark All-Inclusive.

Moving into a care home can be daunting, but the team’s bighearted approach puts residents and their loved ones at the heart of all they do. As they would have in their own home, loved ones are welcome to pop-by day or night. I've been a resident of Regency Care Home for 2 years now. I'm more than pleased with the care I receive. It's always lovely to wake up in my lovely room. I'm always treated with love and respect with staff. (I look on as my second family). As residents here we are also able to get involved with activities
we have each day, therapy works wonders I do find that I've gained.

My mother has been a resident for approx 5 years and, during the anxious period of transition from hospital, the family visited in excess of thirty care facilities. On arrival I am met and greeted with a smile, visiting my brother and stayed an hour or two. Although my brother has only been here for a short period he has settled well and the food he is given is far better than what he was having. Very pleased at this moment in time.

After a number of months in bed, my relative improved such that she is up and about and being included in the daily routine once more.
The staff have manned her superbly throughout and continue to manage her sometimes difficult manner to ensure she lives as good a life as possible.
Their manner with
her is good as they deal with her needs. She is encouraged to attend activities as appropriate.
She is treated with respect at all times.

I visit approx 3 to 4 times a week. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and you are always made to feel welcome. (Not intruding) I especially appreciate the coffee shop that provides a comfortable area to have a drink and look at the newspaper. (Conversation is very limited with my mum and has been
for a while). It also gives you the opportunity to speak to other residents and families. Mum used to really enjoy activities and will join when able.

All the staff gave such a warm welcome to my friend when she arrived at the Regency in March of this year. The room is lovely and more than adequate for her needs. There's plenty of activities to attend to during the day and to get involved in. The food is excellent and with plenty of choice. All the
residents are friendly and my friend was soon settling into her new home. There are always staff on hand if you need to speak to someone. Lots of activities included for family and friends to attend.

My mother has been a resident at Regency House Care Home for 18 months and we cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received there. She is confined to bed and so needs lots of attention, which she gets at all times. The staff care and nursing are excellent and we especially appreciate the way
a G.P is called quickly if there is any problem. The room is lovely and clean and the food is excellent. Mum is very happy there and we have peace of mind knowing she is well cared for.

My brother has been a resident at this care home for 3 and a half years following a massive stroke. His wife and I have found the staff very caring and helpful, also the domestic and office staff are to be commended.


There is the occasional hitch now and then but nothing major.


All in all, (the

I find Regency is a very caring place for my mother to spend her days, with the knowledge that she is in safe hands. The carers and the full team are most reliable, friendly and open. I feel on arrival at each visit, that you walk into a home of friends and family - I would not change anything.

My mother was a resident here but unfortunately passed away. As I had already made friends with a number of the residents I come in to see them once a week to have a chat and a coffee. The team is always very friendly and the coffee shop is amazing.

I have found the staff are extremely helpful. I am kept informed on my families health and welfare. The home is kept remarkably clean and maintained. My family member enjoys the food and always says that there is plenty of choice. I have never had any reason to question anything and I feel that the
staff are always willing to take time to answer any questions that I might need to have answered. There activities are amazing and there's always plenty of things for my family member to do.

The home offers a safe and caring environment which offers the opportunity for regular activities from craft work through to gardening. The layout of the home provides the easy access to all areas including the garden area which provides peace of mind for family and friends knowing that mum can access
areas safely. Food is excellent and there has never been any issues in any friend or family visiting at any time.

I have been visiting my friend since she moved into the Regency.

Wendy O'Sullivan

Wendy joined Regency House in January 2022, bringing over seven years of experience in similar roles to her position as Lifestyle Lead. Her dedication to enhancing the lives of residents through meaningful activities and social engagement has earned her the prestigious Gold Award at the Welsh Care Awards, reflecting her passion and commitment to outstanding care.


In her role, Wendy oversees a team of six Lifestyle Assistants, working collaboratively to design and deliver a diverse and engaging activity programme.
