My mother has been at the home for almost two years and the care provided is much appreciated. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The home has recently undergone a refurbishment - WOW! The coffee lounge is more spacious where residents can meet and greet their family and friends. Everyone at the home greets you with a smile and friendly hello. Most important is the nursing care that my mother receives. The staff are supportive, caring and respectful who work hard and inform us of any changes and are happy for us to visit and stay late with mum until she goes to bed. I am grateful for the care and attention she receives - I wouldn't want her to be in another nursing home. It's a safe and secure environment.
How lovely of you to take the time to review our home and the care we provide. We all take great pride in providing the best care possible, in a warm and friendly, home-like atmosphere. It is our pleasure to spend the day with such wonderful people like your Mum.
I have given Excellent for all relevant categories except Facilities. This is due to refurbishment activities being performed since my mum entered the Care Home.
My mother passed last week and the staff were extremely supportive. They had a perfect balance of being there when they were needed and giving us the space to grieve.
Dad maintains independence, care and above all his sense of humour. All of which is encouraged by staff.
As a family, we have peace of mind dad is safe and happy.
My mum is very happy at Regency House Care Home. The staff are friendly, courteous and engage her constantly in conversation and laughter. The rooms seem clean and well maintained and visitors are welcomed at all times with a smile.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We are so pleased your Mum is happy here at Regency House Care Home.
Reception, maintenance, cleaners, carers and nurses.
I can't thank you all enough!
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We are so pleased your Mum is happy at Regency House.
The staff are excellent and take very good care of my mom and other residents.
Thank you for taking your time to review Regency House Care Home.
Well done, keep up the good work.
I am pleased my mother is here. When you first arrive there is a community feel. Very clean and staff are excellent, friendly and willing to assist. It also feels very well managed.
My father is new to this care home after previously being in a different tone. I can not believe how wonderful, kind and caring. Everybody has been and its so nice to see people and carers treat him like a human. Everyone talks to him like an adult, not a child which unfortunately people tend to so when you get to a certain age, I feel like, after four years, my dad got his life together.
Since being in the home, my dad already looks so much more relaxed and cared for. We could not be more happy with our choice of the Regency House and would recommend it to anyone in the same position.
My friend came to the care home when she was in dire need of care/support in January 2018. I waited to fill in this form to experience what was offered here. Now 4 months on I am extremely happy with her care and support provided here. She has improved week by week and has settled in wonderfully. I am confident that she is treated with dignity and she is very happy and content since being at this lovely care home.
This care home consistently provides cheerful, professional and warm care for my mother who is 96 years of age. She is safe and happy and responds very well to all the staff with whom she comes into contact. She also participates in activities appropriate to her. Both my sister, who is a retired nursing sister, and I, a retired headteacher, are very appreciative of this care home.
I've been a resident of Regency Care Home for 2 years now. I'm more than pleased with the care I receive. It's always lovely to wake up in my lovely room. I'm always treated with love and respect with staff. (I look on as my second family). As residents here we are also able to get involved with activities we have each day, therapy works wonders I do find that I've gained.
My mother has been a resident for approx 5 years and, during the anxious period of transition from hospital, the family visited in excess of thirty care facilities. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found Hallmark (Regency) as the facility ticks all the boxes, provides peace of mind that our mother is well cared for in the available budget.
On arrival I am met and greeted with a smile, visiting my brother and stayed an hour or two. Although my brother has only been here for a short period he has settled well and the food he is given is far better than what he was having. Very pleased at this moment in time.
The staff have manned her superbly throughout and continue to manage her sometimes difficult manner to ensure she lives as good a life as possible.
Their manner with her is good as they deal with her needs. She is encouraged to attend activities as appropriate.
She is treated with respect at all times.
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.
Activities every day, cleanliness of rooms.
I visit approx 3 to 4 times a week. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and you are always made to feel welcome. (Not intruding) I especially appreciate the coffee shop that provides a comfortable area to have a drink and look at the newspaper. (Conversation is very limited with my mum and has been for a while). It also gives you the opportunity to speak to other residents and families. Mum used to really enjoy activities and will join when able.
All the staff gave such a warm welcome to my friend when she arrived at the Regency in March of this year. The room is lovely and more than adequate for her needs. There's plenty of activities to attend to during the day and to get involved in. The food is excellent and with plenty of choice. All the residents are friendly and my friend was soon settling into her new home. There are always staff on hand if you need to speak to someone. Lots of activities included for family and friends to attend.
My mother has been a resident at Regency House Care Home for 18 months and we cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received there. She is confined to bed and so needs lots of attention, which she gets at all times. The staff care and nursing are excellent and we especially appreciate the way a G.P is called quickly if there is any problem. The room is lovely and clean and the food is excellent. Mum is very happy there and we have peace of mind knowing she is well cared for.
