I absolutely love it at Regency House and this is my home where I want to stay forever. The staff are all lovely and look after me so well and the food is fantastic. I feel like I have been here forever.
Thank you so much for your amazing review, we absolutely love having you as a resident in our home and are so pleased that you have settled so well. Your smile and laugh is wonderful and you make the team and other residents smile so much with your brilliant sense of humour and fun.
It must be something in the water as my 92-year-old mum has become competitive wining ping pong cornhole and hockey who is this woman?
Whatever you have been doing please keep doing it. It really works.
I will forever be grateful
My 97-year-old father was admitted to the home for assessment after a ten-week stay in hospital. He has settled in very well, largely due to the care and support of all who work at the home. He is on the nursing ward and has been treated with respect and dignity. It is clear that all the staff we have met, know who he is and are aware of his particular needs. With current Covid restrictions in place, the home has been meticulous in ensuring the safety of all the residents. We have been kept informed of his progress and well-being and staff are always happy to speak to my sister and me, at any time. This has been very reassuring for us. If it transpires that he will need long-term care that cannot be met at his own home, I have no doubts that the Regency House Care Home is the best possible place for him.
Thank you Robert for taking the time to review Regency House and for your wonderful feedback. Dad has settled in really well and we are so pleased that you and your sister are really happy with the level of care received and with the information and updates provided by the team members you speak to. I will certainly pass on your comments to the team, who will be thrilled with your kind words.
My mother has been with Regency House for around 6 months now and in that time I feel as though her demeanour and general quality of life have improved significantly. The staff always appear so attentive and polite and it makes me feel extremely comfortable knowing that mum is in such good hands. Even with the difficulties that the pandemic has caused, regular contact has been facilitated by other means and this has been so important as a family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Regency House Khal, we are so pleased that Mum has settled in so well and that you and the family are happy knowing Mum is being cared for so well. We love having Mum here with us and It’s been a real pleasure welcoming you and Dad inside the home to see Mum.
I absolutely love this place. All the staff are amazing and very helpful, you can see how much they care for the residents.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. The team's spirit is certainly raised when we read and see such glowing reviews especially after the hard year we have all experienced. We look forward to welcoming you back to the home soon.
Dad went to Regency House in October 2020. It was very upsetting to see this as he was managed by myself and carers for the previous 5 years following a serious fall. As the Coronavirus pandemic was prevalent I was unable to visit the home prior to my dad's admission, and therefore unable to meet most of the staff caring for him. The staff I spoke with at the time were all very supportive during this difficult time, and the meetings outside or in the car park were always helpful and informative. Four months later Dad appears settled although missing contact with his family just like everyone else. It is the hard work of the team at Regency that has achieved this by engaging with him and meeting his needs in a variety of ways. He is now enjoying taking part in activities and is interested in watching his sport and tv as before. I am very grateful to see him smile when we speak regularly on zoom. Thank you to the team at Regency House for all your care during this difficult time.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Carole, we really appreciate your kind words and I will certainly be feeding them back to the team. It’s great to see Dad taking part in activities and seeing his competitiveness and love of sports returning. I look forward to sitting down for a cup of tea with you as soon as we can.
Every single member of staff are always helpful, happy and go out of their way to accommodate any request my mother may have. In the current crisis, they have been exemplary and it has given me great peace of mind knowing my mother is safe, well cared for and happy. Well done everyone. 5 stars from me!!
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We are so glad that you are happy with everything here.
My mum has been looked after very well since the Covid crisis started in March 2020. Mum has remained happy and content even though our visits have been limited. Staff always treat Mum with dignity and respect and have been able to keep me updated on her progress every week. Would recommend Regency House to anyone considering a nursing home for friend or relative.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We’re glad that your Mum is living with us at Regency House and will continue to ensure she is happy here.
First experience of a care home but overall it has been a pleasant surprise. The staff are always cheerful, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The entertainment is plentiful and varied. The home is comfortable, homely and always welcoming.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home.
Excellent service and care. My mother is settled, happy and well cared for. Regular entertainment and trips. All carers show personal interest in my mother. I am always treated with respect and sensitivity for my concerns. Wonderfully clean, fabulous coffee area.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We are so pleased your Mother is settled and happy here.
Regency House is a wonderful care home. All the staff are committed and caring, from the managers, care team and domestic team. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My mother has been living at Regency house for almost two years and she loves the home and people. She says all the staff are very caring and she enjoys all the activities, particularly the gardening.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home. We are so pleased your Mother enjoys living at Regency House.
Staff very stable - means they all know mum and her needs.
Wide and imaginative - yet appropriate - activities.
Mum was really encouraged to participate (better than her previous nursing home).
Nursing staff know my mother well and can sense when she is uncomfortable/not on top form.
Thank you for leaving such a great review. It means a lot to know that both you and your mother are happy with Regency House.
Mum has been at Regency House for six months now following nursing assessment and has settled quickly and happily. The nursing care is marvellous and they ensure I am always kept informed. The GP is called without delay if necessary. The carers and indeed all the staff are lovely, warm, kind and treat Mum with respect and dignity. The activities coordinator is a joy and he provides a variety of entertainment/activities/days out. I think it is fair to say that many of the staff go above and beyond their normal duties to ensure the residents and families are happy, nothing is too much trouble. This is a bright, clean, welcoming and very well run home.
Thank you so much for your review. I am very happy your mum is enjoying her time with us and that you are happy with the level of support we are currently giving.
During his 15 months at Regency House, dad has been settled, relaxed and comfortable and his only comment is that the wine list could be a bit more extensive.
Thank you for your review. I am very happy to see we were able to make changes for the better and that this made a difference.
The nurses and caring staff are very good.
The communal coffee area for residents, family and friends is bright and airy. The programme for entertainment is good.
Thank you for your review. We always like to see positive feedback and I will share this with the team.
Staff treat residents with warm dignity, the meals are fresh and varied, lots of fresh fruit and desserts available.
My brother-in-law received the highest quality care in what can only be described as 5 stars.
The home has recently had a lot of refurbishment which has made it a pleasure to visit my relative. The hairdresser is accessible on the ground floor. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. The reception area and coffee shop are very nice. On the downside, I find it difficult to get through to the first floor at certain times of the day with a telephone query.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home.
I think this is a wonderful care home and the refurbishment is outstanding. However, I do think that there is a lack of staff. My Dad eats his meals in his room which I know is his choice. The only time he sees anybody is when they take his food to him. I think more staff are needed just to go around and have a chat with the residents on a one to one basis.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home.
The support residents get at Regency is fantastic. It is a happy environment where staff go the extra mile. Work has recently been done at Regency House which makes it spacious and light for residents and family. The one thing I would like to see here is more support and more staff to help with activities for residents, including evenings. The activities coordinator has had a huge impact with his activities in a short space of time since he has been there. Well done.
Thank you for taking the time to review Regency House Care Home.
Our parents experienced superb care from the whole team. The carers were compassionate with both my mother, who died in early April and our father, who naturally is devasted by her loss. The carers and staff showed great consideration and love to them, and to us, for which we are most grateful. We cannot speak too highly of Regency House Care Home.
