Hallmark Regency House

My mum is a resident at Regency House Care Home and I am very impressed with the standard of care she receives and the nursing attention. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this care home enough.

My brother came to live in Regency House Care Home at the end of July. When we were looking we felt it to be the right place for my brother. Everybody is so friendly. Always clean and tidy. Staff very approachable and helpful nothing too much trouble.

Excellent home. Mum is happier here than she’s been for ages. The staff are wonderful, and Mum loves them and lights up when they pop in to say hi to her. The care is wonderful and is as good as I could expect. My brother, sister and I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Mum is very happy in the home and we are confident in the staff and we have more quality time together and all the family enjoy coming in to see Mum. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to other friends and family.

Thank you to all the staff and carers who helped us give my mother-in-law a wonderful ninetieth birthday party on Sunday July 2nd 2023. The staff, chefs and carers worked so hard to make it a successful celebration. We want to make a particular mention and thank you to the chef and catering staff, as the buffet was excellent. Thank you, also, to the staff who decorated the room with banners and balloons. It was very special and really appreciated. My mother-in-law was so happy and really enjoyed her party. She couldn’t believe that it was all for her. We are very grateful for everyone at the home who always look after her so well. She is safe, happy and content under your care. We always feel welcome when we visit and we are kept informed on her care and wellbeing.

My mother has had, and continues to have, outstanding care. The staff are consistent, with an excellent attitude to her needs. I commend the leadership and staff for their commitment in providing wonderful levels of care and attention.

Care and support of the care home has been amazing. There is plenty of activities to keep residents stimulated. The care is brilliant and I can relax knowing that my loved one is in a safe environment. Always kept up to date by management if there are any concerns.

My aunt has been a resident in this facility for just over a year and since being here, she has been treated with care and dignity at all times. The activity programme is excellent and she has changed from being depressed and tearful, to happy and positive. I am so grateful to all the staff for bringing about this change in her. My mother has been a resident at Regency House for almost a year, I cannot fault the care she has been given, the carers are dedicated to making sure my mother is treated with dignity and respect, Mum loves all the activities that are on daily 7 days a week, and the food is good too. Management is helpful and friendly and always available to speak to.

My stay at the Regency has been excellent. I can't fault it at all. I really enjoyed the activities. My room is beautiful and the careers can't do enough for me.

My mum has been here for nearly two years at Regency. Except for her settling-in period, I cannot fault the care she has been given. Food care, etc, from care staff to management, cleaners, and reception, nothing is too much trouble.

Mum has been a resident of Regency House Care Home for approximately 6 months now. From the outset, the team have worked diligently to provide a warm and caring environment for her. The wide range of activities provided for the residents is second to none and Mum really appreciates the social contact that these activities enable her to engage in. The team are so incredibly supportive of family members as well as the residents. This provides a great deal of reassurance.

When searching for a respite placement, we were guided by previous experience and were not disappointed. We are delighted that individualised care and support are provided by all the staff here to make the most of the facilities available and to encourage participation in activities offered.

My mother is very happy here, it has a very good standard of cleanliness and staff are very dedicated to their job. My mum likes the social life and activities.

Since Mum moved here in June 2021, we have been reassured that she is receiving a high level of care. Staff are amenable and professional, showing empathy and understanding to mum and her specific needs. It has been refreshing to witness protocols and procedures being adhered to, with a clear structure in place that ensures that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined. The management team, family liaison officer, reception personnel, nurses, carers, lifestyle team, and ancillary staff are always approachable and compassionate. They all have a vital role to play in Mum’s care. Mum has had her needs met now that she has been moved to The Regency and we take comfort from the fact that she is now receiving the care that she so deserves. Thank you.

The staff and facilities were outstanding in helping my mum during a respite care stay. The booking staff accommodated our changing requirements in terms of length of stay in a courteous and flexible way which couldn’t be beaten. The care and nursing staff took great care of my mum and were always friendly and courteous. I would strongly recommend the home for respite care and longer stays

I have been a resident for several months and I could not be any happier. Choosing to leave my family home was a huge decision but one I am so glad I made. The staff are all wonderful and have made this my home.

I can honestly say I have never seen my gramps happier or healthier since my nan passed away years ago. It is clear to see the effect that living on his own was having on his health as he could hardly move and was fighting constantly to stay awake. Since he has been here, however, his mobility is a lot better and he is awake and alive every time I see him. Again it speaks volumes about the care and service given at Regency House. It was a long and hard road for my grampy to come to realise that he could no longer live in his home that he has lived in for longer than I have been alive. I honestly believe that if he had ended up anywhere else he would have only got worse so I cannot thank the staff enough for what they have done for him.
